Payback Own is a privacy-first consumer insights app that analyzes your personal data exports and turns them into clear behavioral profiles, category matches, and AI-powered summaries. It helps you understand the signals platforms and advertisers can infer from your digital footprint — without your raw export data ever being sent to our servers.
Import Google Takeout archives and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) exports, then explore patterns across search, browsing, social activity, app installs, location history, and selected media metadata. Payback Own supports on-device extraction, encrypted local storage, resumable processing, and detailed category analysis across 135 behavioral dimensions.
Core analysis happens locally on your device. For Instant Analysis, the app sends extracted behavioral signals — not raw email bodies or full calendar content — through a secure backend proxy to Google Gemini to generate persona-style insights. Your raw export files remain on your device.
