COMPASSPLUS PRO · Already have CompassPlus? Pro is unlocked for you, for good — nothing to pay. · For new installs, direction, altitude and live speed stay free. The AR finder, time scrubbing, widgets and speed recording are now CompassPlus Pro: a one-time purchase, not a subscription. · The tip jar in Settings has made way for CompassPlus Pro. WEATHER · Pressure, temperature and wind now come from Apple Weather. ICON · The app icon is now Liquid Glass. FIXED · Moonrise and moonset are now worked out for where you stand (horizon altitude −0.826°), so they match the published tables. · In AR, sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset use the same standard horizon altitude as the Compass screen, so the two no longer disagree by a few minutes.

TWO NEW WIDGETS NEXT RISE & SET · The next sunrise, sunset, moonrise or moonset — whichever comes first. It turns over on its own once the time passes. · Circular and inline on the Lock Screen. On the Home Screen, 2×2 lists the three after it, and 4×2 adds the day's ring with a bead at the current moment. · Sun only or Moon only, if you would rather. MOON PHASE · The face is real lunar imagery from NASA, not a drawn circle. · The terminator follows the day's actual line between light and dark, and the unlit half keeps a little earthshine instead of going flat black. · The Moon is rolled to the zenith where you are and turned by the axis position angle — the southern hemisphere gets the face the other way up. Without a location fix it falls back to the standard north-up view. · Circular, rectangular and inline on the Lock Screen; 2×2 and 4×2 on the Home Screen give the phase name, how much is lit, and the date of the next phase. · The phase itself is the same for everyone, so this one works without location. SUN & MOON PATH WIDGET · The rectangular Lock Screen size gives the whole block to the curve, with sunrise and sunset sitting where the curve crosses the horizon. FIXED · The lunar maria no longer read as bright patches on a light background. · Lock Screen text no longer washes out with the ambient appearance. · When the Moon Phase timeline is too heavy to archive, the widget no longer comes up empty.

NEW: SUN & MOON PATH WIDGET · Medium and small on the Home Screen; rectangular, circular and inline on the Lock Screen. · Long-press to switch between Sun & Moon, Sun only, and Moon only. · The location comes from the app — the widget doesn't run location itself. Open CompassPlus once after installing and it has what it needs. THE COMPASS SCREEN'S SUN AND MOON CHART, REDRAWN · Same drawing as the widget: whichever body is above the horizon glows — the Sun by day, the Moon at night. · The vertical scale is set from the day's own range, so solstices and polar days no longer run off the chart. · A solid horizon line, no more vertical ticks at the crossings, and sunrise, sunset and elevation moved to a row beneath the chart. · Sunrise and sunset now use the standard horizon altitude (−0.833° for the Sun, +0.125° for the Moon) instead of geometric zero, which lines up with the times you would find anywhere else. AR SUN / MOON, REDRAWN · The reticle opens into four arcs with the center left clear, so you can see the sky through it. · Sunrise, sunset and the other markers moved out of the middle of the frame and onto the arc. · In bright light the contrast is carried by the stroke's own color, not by outlines and shadows. · The sight and the arc are drawn in one color. · Move your finger slowly and the nudge is finer than your hand shakes. FIXED · The heading readout no longer repeats itself as "NE · NE" in English.

Brand New Speed Page Real-time speed, acceleration, average & maximum speed, and full trip statistics. Average speed now uses a time-integral algorithm to accurately record walking and jogging. A flowing line field that responds to speed and converges into starry dots when stationary. Refreshed Altitude Page Minimalist large-font readings with color schemes that change according to elevation. The altitude scale on the right can now be dragged to preview any elevation. Reworked AR Sun & Moon Finder Edge dashboard layout ensures the screen is no longer blocked by cards. Drag time continuously by year/month/day/hour/minute to watch the sun cross a day or an entire season. More intuitive calibration entry with auto-exposure enabled by default. Complete sun circle trajectory, with the part below the horizon presented as a dashed line. Enhanced Compass Added coordinate cards and manual calibration, with active alerts when magnetic interference occurs. Time mode can be scrubbed across dimensions and returned to the current moment with a single tap. Dial text remains upright even during high-speed rotation for smoother viewing. Others Brand new four-corner compass star icon. Dark mode adaptation and improved English localization.
