It really draws you into the fractured memory of Tim. Every character feels real, even with square heads, every conversation feels genuine and it doesn’t shy away from the hard stuff. Not every victim knows that they have been wronged, not everybody needs to speak up to heal, not everybody will be heard if they do, and not every perpetrator is pure evil.It isn’t super explicit graphically but it still brought me to tears. I really loved the difference that it showed between children exploring their sexuality and doing something wrong. That difference is incredibly important and tragically, sometimes the lines get blurred. I have been lucky enough to never be a victim of sexual assault of any kind but the game seriously felt like it was reaching out to the player, acknowledging that what they went through was real, and that not everyone gets a perfect ending. The trigger warnings are handled very well and any scene can be skipped.I highly recommend this game for anyone fifteen and up and especially for anyone that has been hurt or knows someone who has.
