Books
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Loch is a social platform designed for writers and readers. No ads, no algorithms chasing trends, no viral content—just great writing, beautifully presented, discovered by people who love stories.
WRITE WITH STYLE
Create quotes, excerpts, poems, short stories, and full chapters using professional creative tools. Choose from over 50 fonts, customize colors and backgrounds, add drop caps, scene breaks, and rich formatting. Every post becomes a canvas for your words.
PUBLISH YOUR BOOK
Write chapters with a full, rich text editor, then publish them as a series. Loch automatically divides long chapters into manageable pieces for social discovery while maintaining the full reading experience. Manage multi-chapter works, track word counts, and grow your readership one chapter at a time.
READ WITHOUT DISTRACTION
Enjoy an immersive reading experience with Dark, Light, and Sepia themes. Adjust fonts, text size, line spacing, and margins to suit your preferences. Pick up reading where you left off, thanks to reading position memory.
DISCOVER NEW VOICES
Swipe through a full-screen feed of stories, poems, and excerpts. Follow writers you love, bookmark stories for later, and get notified when they publish new content.
LISTEN WHILE YOU READ
Use the built-in LoFi music player, which offers six mood categories to match your reading. Calm piano music for poetry, ambient soundscapes for Sci-Fi, intense beats for thrillers.
YOUR WORDS ARE PROTECTED
Every post is automatically secured with content hashing, digital signatures, and invisible watermarks. Write with confidence, knowing your intellectual property is safeguarded.
CONNECT WITH READERS
Follow writers, like and bookmark posts, leave comments, and share stories. Build your audience directly without fighting an algorithm designed for engagement bait.
Ratings & Reviews
• Music that reads along with you — the LoFi player now matches its mood to the story on your screen: tense scores under thrillers, warm keys under romance.
• Audiobooks are easier to find — narrated stories now show an Audiobook badge right in your feed.
• A new shuffle control in the music player, subtle haptic feedback throughout, and reading polish.
