- We improved the SGF reading capabilities to handle SGF files from kifu photo apps and SGF files with pre-set positions. - We improved the compatibility of the app with iPad (7th generation) models from 2019/2020 running on iPadOS 18. We noticed after a bug report that the GPU of these devices cannot properly handle some features of SakataGo. A new "small model" was added which has much better performance on these devices. However, we also had to switch off the human imitation modes, as they cannot be operated reliably on the old hardware. - Fixed a bug in the handling of imported SGF files leading to incorrect move quality indications in certain cases.

- Added board sizes 9 x 9 and 13 x 13. - Improved the analysis mode with color indications for move quality and automatic alignment of score/winrate info. The color indication is switched off if you don't show the score and win rate status line. - Improved handling of imported SGF files. The move quality indication is added on the fly while reviewing the game. - Improved the storage stack: you can store 20 positions now, and there is a clearer separation of storage stack and clipboard. You also don't have to worry about double tapping the Store Button or tapping the Replace Button by accident: each position is stored only once, and you can cycle through the storage to go back to the initial position if you tapped Replace accidentally. - SakataGo can now re-open games in analysis mode if you closed the app while reviewing a game. - Several minor bug fixes and code improvements.

- Improved the board size calibration for iPads. In particular, the board is now larger in full screen mode on iPads. - We updated the model to the strongest confidently rated model from January 2026. - Several minor bug fixes.

We have made some improvements after user feedback: - New playing strengths 10 kyu - 7 kyu have been added. - Tap on the little chart symbol between score and win rate to toggle showing score/win rate. That is easier and quicker than using the settings sheet. - Long press on the Player-and-Strength symbol (two overlapping stones below or left of the board): Toggle between table background and clear gray background. Some users preferred a simple background to the wooden table. - Improved UI for the backward/forward buttons, especially for smaller iPhone screens. The buttons have more spacing now in portrait mode. - Improved visibility of territory and hint indicators - Added help texts explaining this and explaining in more detail what the color change white/stale gray in the status line means - see new help section "Table Design & Status Line".
