Xera is a free strength training app built around better programs, meaningful goals, and effortless workout tracking.
Put your personalized training routine on autopilot: build a Workout Program from your own saved workouts, set your schedule, and let Xera guide you through what’s next. Automatic strength progression advances your training weight as you reach your rep targets, while goals keep the lifts that matter most in focus and track your progress across every workout.
Log weights, reps, sets, and rest quickly from your phone, Apple Watch, or Garmin watch. Powerful watch-based workout tracking is often locked behind a subscription—Xera makes it available for free, so you can stay focused on training instead of your screen.
Find exercises fast with search by name, equipment, and muscle group.
Honestly I have never had much luck staying consistent with workouts. It’s hard to keep myself accountable and although I’ve tried other apps I usually try it once and give up. This one is honestly so good, it’s like the duo lingo of fitness apps, streaks keep you coming back week after week, it’s extremely easy to use and there’s even videos for each exercise to show proper form. There’s workouts with and without weights, you can literally start with just pushups and sit-ups and then add new workouts as you get into it. If you’re just trying to be healthier, or more serious workouts to build muscle this app is literally perfect and makes it’s so easy
Surprisingly good app
rogamorris
I’ve tried a bunch of strength training apps, and Xera is easily one of the best I’ve used. It nails the thing that matters most in the gym: staying out of your way.Logging sets is incredibly fast, rest timers are right where you need them, and it’s easy to see what you did last time and keep progressing. The interface is clean and intuitive without sacrificing the features you actually want from a serious lifting tracker.
Actually Good Fitness App
Christophercorn
I’ve tried more workout apps than I can count and always end up back to just using a spreadsheet to track everything at the gym. This one actually stuck. The way it’s set up just makes sense — I’m not spending half my workout figuring out what to do next, I’m just doing it. Tracks everything I need without making it complicated. Exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend.
