Great app for starting the discipline of quitting doomscrolling and getting into the Word

1) I think this is a great tool to get someone into gear, to start the discipline of switching from the modern tech temptation that is doomscrolling to growing in your daily Bible reading time. Not a permanent solution but a great tool. 2) The price is great for what the app does. Some have issues with paying for it but it’s not hundreds of dollars, it’s $30 a year to better your mental health, character, and again to use as a tool to grow in your daily walk with the Lord. 3) Love that it’s an app that appreciates feedback, and responds to it. I personally can’t wait to see how it helps me, my family, my church family, and others that could benefit from this tool. Again not permanently, but a really good way to start a daily discipline. And to get away from all the other stuff that distracts from Daily Devotions.
I’m loving this app!

I’ve been loving Bible Break! It has completely changed how I spend my free time. Instead of automatically scrolling through social media, I now open Bible Break and spend time in God’s Word. It’s helped me replace mindless scrolling with something more meaningful and uplifting. The app is easy to navigate and offers so many helpful features. I have felt so much better about the way I’m spending my time. It’s helped me stay more consistent in my faith, and I can genuinely tell a difference in my day-to-day mood and energy.
Needs more versions!!

I love this app!! It’s a game changer. I was originally using another screen time app, but that would only block the apps and I would have to wait until the time ran out so that I can use social media. Bible break helps me read the Bible (get a shot of dopamine) and create a sense of discipline so that later I can then scroll. One thing I do may add is that there are very limited versions of the Bible. Like the Bible app there are many versions that you can choose from (I prefer ESV) and nothing is limited to reading. I also like to read in other languages so having more versions of different languages should work too.
Minutes don’t line up

I really wanted to love this app, I have kids so want to be more present with them so I figured okay perfect read 10-15 min of the bible I get 10-15 min of social media and that’s good. Well i will be reading for 15-20 min and asking it question and it will say I have been only reading for one minute. I guess I read too slow or ask too many questions. But if I’m reading the bible I will digest it not just read to read. Idk maybe there something wrong I still have two days of trial but if this stays the same I will not purchase the full version. I do already spend 30 min in the morning and at night praying and doing scripture this was just an added bonus throughout the day but might not be right for my life right now.
- BSV Translation
