Polar templates and a course correction you can follow • New: six polar templates from daysailer to cruising catamaran – pick the closest match instead of typing the grid by hand, then fine-tune the values in the editor • Voyage Briefing: the new "Source" picker shows where the speed comes from – cruising speed, onboard instruments or the polar diagram • Course correction: the course chain now shows all five courses – compass, magnetic, true, through water and over ground. You see the whole calculation, not just the result • Course correction: a note appears when the wind or current correction exceeds 45° – usually the drift angle was worked out for a different course • Fixed: leeway was applied to the wrong side. Wind from starboard lowers the course figure – please re-check any courses you worked out with it • Angle fields are now labelled "Deg / Min / Sec" instead of small tick marks • Texts are consistently in English; the last German remnants have been translated • Fixed: variation and the current triangle rounded the course to 0.1° – that is 6 minutes. 5° 20′ came back as 5° 18′; both are now accurate to the second • Fixed: with the keyboard open, the tab bar or the plus button at the bottom could cover an input field – a tap on the middle of the field missed it • The polar diagram and onboard instruments are still being unlocked gradually

Maintenance update • Polar diagram: the editor shows its title again • Once you've used NauticCalc on a few different days, it asks for an App Store rating – at most once per version and never while you're entering values. Every rating helps other skippers find the app. Thank you!

Tide Update Improved offline mode – Tide data now loads reliably from the local cache even without an internet connection or with a weak signal. Tide chart fixed – The graph now shows only the selected day instead of multiple days at once. Last location remembered – After restarting the app, your last selected tide location is automatically restored.

Improved onboarding: The End User Licence Agreement now opens as a dedicated screen. You can agree at the end of the licence text. Your agreement is saved — you won't need to re-read the licence on every launch.
