Cirrus Aviation App
Train Smarter. Arrive Prepared. Fly More.
Requires iOS 17 or later.
The Cirrus Aviation App is a comprehensive digital training and preflight companion for Cirrus Aviation pilots and students. It brings procedures, aircraft information, study tools, and preflight preparation into a single structured platform designed to support efficient flight training and safe operations.
Instead of spending valuable time searching through documents or assembling planning materials before a lesson, you can prepare in advance and arrive ready to fly.
One-time purchase provides long-term access throughout your training.

Preflight Workflow
The Cirrus Aviation App opens directly to a guided preflight workflow designed to help pilots prepare thoroughly before every flight. A structured five-step process walks you through risk assessment, weight and balance, airworthiness, performance, and FSP review.
This process helps ensure important planning steps are completed consistently before every flight.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Eight new calculators: Wind Triangle, Fuel Planning, Cold Temperature Correction, Cloud Base & Freezing Level, Glide Range, Turn Performance, Pivotal Altitude & Va, and Tail Downforce & CG, an interactive lesson on how the center of gravity changes tail downforce, wing lift, drag and stall speed. The VDP calculator adds a timed VDP, and the calculators are organized by task.
Calculator updates: the climb gradient unit picker converts the value when the unit changes, the VDP calculator uses the exact glidepath angle, the hydroplane calculator uses the NASA rotating and non-rotating tire formulas, and the density altitude calculator accepts hPa settings and below-sea-level field elevations.
The Document Revision Information list cites Advisory Circular 61-65K and links current FAA sources for the contractions order and the runway safety flashcards.
The update banner clears itself more reliably once the version it points to has been installed.
