What's new in v0.7.0
The workout summary got a full rebuild. After you wrap a session, you now land on a hero card with your headline lifts, a stat strip, and exercise blocks with set-linked video thumbnails. Tap any thumbnail to scrub through that clip in a swipeable player. Accessories tuck into a collapsible section so the page stays readable for long workouts.
The video player got a full rebuild too. Dark photo-viewer chrome, playback speed pills (0.25x / 0.5x / 1x), rep markers above the scrubber so you can jump straight to set 3, and a strip across the top showing exactly which set you're watching.
Workouts tab:
• Long history loads fast even at hundreds of sessions. The list now virtualizes rows you can't see, so scrolling stays smooth.
• Cleaner row layout, week dividers, and a real skeleton state while your history is loading
• An empty state that actually tells you what to do first
• See all link on the upcoming workouts header so you can scan past the next three
Imports:
• Import your workout history from Strong (CSV export) and Powr fills in your past lifts so charts and PRs work from day one
• Program imports now run on the server side. Close the app mid-import and Powr picks back up where it left off when you reopen.
Shareables:
• Hit a PR and want to post it? Tap Share from a finished workout to render a branded screenshot. Multi-aspect frame, save-or-share preview, one-line exercise summary that fits the screen.
• Same share frame is accessible from the plate calculator for quick rack pics
Plate calculator:
• Manage your plate inventory directly from Settings instead of digging into the calculator screen
• Swipe down to hide the plate diagram when you want the screen back
• Powr remembers whether you last set the bar in kg or lb on a per-set basis
Reliability and speed:
• Foreground sync only sends the workouts, programs, plate setups, and inventory you actually changed. Less data over flaky gym Wi-Fi.
• Video uploads are bounded to a small concurrent pool with a file-existence guard, so a missing clip won't wedge the queue
• Video downloads cap concurrency and trip a short circuit-breaker if the server keeps failing. Your library tab stays responsive.
• Recorded videos list virtualizes long libraries and loads thumbnails lazily, fixing slow scroll
• Smarter sign-in retries; rare cases of stale account state on a signed-out device are fixed
Security and crashes:
• Local storage is now encrypted with a key stored in the device's secure enclave. Existing data migrates automatically the first time you open this version.
• Apple Sign In now uses a cryptographic nonce, closing a token replay gap
• Crash reports are symbolicated end-to-end, so when something does go wrong, fixes ship faster.
• Cold-start crashes caused by the video recorder mounting too early are fixed
Behind the scenes Powr can now require a minimum app version before letting your active workout sync. We'll only use this if a backwards-incompatible change ships, and we'll always tell you exactly what to update to.
Keep getting after it. Reply on a build email or tag us if anything feels off.
