12-Step Program tab just dropped: 12 steps, daily reflections, prayers & meeting logs. All synced to your timeline. Your recovery toolkit finally has a home.
Track your recovery journey with more than just a day counter.
Sobers is a clinically informed recovery support app designed for anyone in recovery—whether you're in a 12-step program, following a different approach, or charting your own path. Think of it as "Jira for your sobriety"—except the only sprint that matters is the one you're already running.
Unlike typical sobriety apps that leave you counting days alone in the dark, Sobers enhances accountability, structure, and communication between you and whoever's in your corner.
WHY SOBERS
Developed by people with lived experience in recovery, Sobers supports ongoing behavioral change—not just calendar math. All core features are available without ads, paywalls, or locked tools. Your recovery shouldn't require a subscription to unlock "premium sobriety."
SOBRIETY TRACKING
Monitor your sober time with clarity and honesty. Track abstinence from alcohol, drugs, nicotine, or other substances and behaviors. Your sobriety clock runs continuously in the background—it's keeping score so you don't have to.
Milestones are highlighted from the first 24 hours through year one and beyond. If a relapse occurs, your counter resets while historical data is preserved. No shaming, no judgment—recovery has never been a straight line, and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
ACCOUNTABILITY PARTNERSHIPS
Connect with a sponsor, accountability partner, sober coach, or supportive friend in seconds using secure invite codes. This structured relationship is what sets Sobers apart.
Whether you're seeking support or providing it, Sobers helps maintain consistent communication. Users can support others while also receiving support themselves—because that's how recovery actually works.
TASK MANAGEMENT
Finally, an answer to "how's your recovery going?" that isn't just "fine, I guess."
Create and assign structured recovery tasks. Complete them and add notes or reflections. Track daily readings, record meeting attendance, log therapy homework, or create any custom action that supports your journey. Gentle reminders keep everyone aligned—no awkward "so... did you do the thing?" texts required.
EXPENSE TRACKING
See exactly how much you're saving—daily, weekly, and monthly. Recovery isn't just about what you're gaining; sometimes it helps to see what you're no longer spending.
12-STEP PROGRESS (OPTIONAL)
Working a program? Document your progress through all 12 steps in one place. Add notes, insights, and reflections for each step. Works alongside AA, NA, CA, OA, GA, and similar programs.
Not in a 12-step program? Simply turn this feature off. Sobers works just as well without it.
JOURNEY TIMELINE
Visualize your entire recovery history in a single view. The timeline displays milestones, relapses, and completed tasks together—so you can understand patterns, acknowledge progress, and actually learn from setbacks instead of pretending they didn't happen.

It’s always great to have a reminder of all the money I’m saving by staying sober. What’s different here, in terms of accountability for my experience, is the incorporation of AA components such as being able to communicate with my sponsor (through the app), by giving them the ability to assign tasks, create goals, coordinating each, etc. I’m also liking the 12 steps tab that summarizes each step with detailed context and reflection questions. And if AA is not what you’re interested in, I appreciate that this feature can be turned off. Looking forward to what’s next, particularly when the widgets are released!

We want to include everyone that’s why we made it so you can turn off the 12-step functionality. Whether you’re in a program or not we’ve got you covered!
Amazing app all around !

Sobriety Waypoint has been a cornerstone of my recovery, providing steady guidance, accountability, and reassurance on a daily basis. It has played an indispensable role in helping me remain focused and grounded throughout my journey, offering meaningful support during both the most challenging moments and the milestones worth celebrating. Thoughtfully designed and deeply impactful, this app delivers lasting value to individuals at any stage of sobriety, whether just beginning or continuing to thrive. I genuinely cannot imagine navigating my recovery without Sobriety Waypoint, and I am profoundly grateful for the role it has played in helping me sustain long-term progress.

Best Sobriety Counter

This is by far the best day counter for your sobriety. You can easily set it up and even track how much money you’ve saved by kicking your addiction! I recommend this app to everyone in my 12 step community! Even if 12 step isn’t for you, you can turn it off in the settings and use all of the other great features!

!! 12-Step Program Tab Just Dropped !!
Remember when your sponsor asked about your step work, and you panicked and changed the subject to the weather?
Yeah, we built a whole tab for that.
Steps: All 12 of 'em. Complete them, track them, watch them appear on your journey timeline like little badges of "I'm actually doing this."
Daily Reflections: Sourced from AA.org. Start your morning with wisdom instead of anxiety. Revolutionary concept.
Prayers: Step prayers, common prayers, the whole collection. One tap. No Googling "what's the third step prayer again" in the parking lot.
Literature: Track your reading progress across multiple books. Add them, remove them, actually finish them. (We believe in you.)
Meetings: Log every one. See them on your timeline. Physical evidence, you just keep on showing up.
Your program, organized. Your sponsor, impressed. You're welcome.
