LingoMate is an offline travel translator for iPhone.
Set where you are going, then say it, show it, or scan it — even when there is no Wi‑Fi. Download a language pack once, and translation stays on your phone: on the plane, in the metro, or at a street stall.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Home — Type what you need in your language. Hear it spoken, or tap Show them so the other person can read a large, high-contrast card.
• Travel phrases — Greetings, food, getting around, shopping, hotel, and emergencies. One tap to play. No hunting through a conversation thread.
• Talk — Face-to-face conversation. Hold to speak; each person hears the other in their own language.
• Chat — A back-and-forth thread when you need a longer exchange.
• Camera — Point at Latin-script signs, labels, and printed text, then translate.
OFFLINE, ON PURPOSE
Download language models on Wi‑Fi before you travel. Text translation can run on-device after that. Voice transcription still needs a network when Apple’s speech service does. Translation quality depends on your text, audio clarity, and how readable the photo is.

Free use includes core translation with daily limits and ads. Pro removes ads and unlocks unlimited translations.
Pro Monthly and Pro Yearly renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or turn off renewal in your Apple ID settings.
Microphone, speech recognition, camera, and photo library are used only for voice and image features.
