While this has become my go to Jellyfin client for Apple TV, and my favorite interface of all the others I’ve tried out, there’s a constant stuttering during playback on iOS that makes it impossible to sit through, pushing me back towards Streamyfin for my iOS client. If this issue is fixed, along with some cleaning up on the macOS side (picture in picture support and video starting over when exiting full screen player), I would even consider opting to the pro plan for additional features
Developer Response
Hi, thanks for the review! Could you email me at help@bcnlab.org and tell me a bit more about the iOS issue, specifically which playback engine you’re using? Would love to look into it!
Great app :)

It has background play that the web or official app doesn’t, and I like the iOS / liquid glass interface. I’m still choosing between clients, but this may end up winning. It would be nice if there was a loop video option though, maybe I’m just not finding it? I also can’t find chapter options.
Developer Response
Thanks for the great feedback. Definitely looking into the loop video option and chapter options!
So far so good

I haven’t used it for long yet, but so far this is doing everything I need it to and doing it well. I’ll update the review as needed. Thanks for the app!
Almost Perect

There’s a semi-frequent refresh that happens on both iOS and TvOS which is a little frustrating. Would also love the ability to add LiveTV to the side menu. (Perhaps adding a free 7-day trial so users can see if premium features are worth it?).
Today's update to LiquidFin includes the following:
- fixed a bug where the quality settings for streamed music weren't respected
- fixed a bug where music was downloaded in a higher quality than expected
- fixed a bug that caused subtitles to show up twice and overlapping in some cases
- fixed subtitle buttons not responding to touch in LiquidFin player
- fixed libraries being overlapped by miniplayer
- small changes behind the scenes
- updated dependencies
