Taking screenshots from videos can reduce image quality or add unwanted borders.
This app lets you extract and save the best frames from your videos as photos in their original quality.
Pick a video, and the AI will split it into scenes. It scores each frame for focus, steadiness, composition, brightness, and faces, then grabs the best frames from every scene.
There are three extraction modes with different numbers of photos, so try them and see what feels right:
• Espresso (fewer)
• Americano (more)
• Barista (just right)
You can also split videos into scenes:
• Instead of splitting at fixed intervals, the app analyzes the video and automatically splits it into scenes based on the content.
• You can save only the selected range as a separate video.
It also includes photo filters like:
• AI Upscale (upscales photos to a maximum of 2048 pixels)
• Depth Blur (adds simulated depth-of-field blur using AI depth analysis)
• Miniature (creates an enhanced toy-camera or tilt-shift lens look using AI depth analysis)
• Depth Mesh (turns photos into 3D meshes that you can view in AR)
• Carbon Relief (creates a carbon-relief effect inspired by sci-fi movies)
Everything runs entirely on your iPhone/iPad. Your videos and photos are never uploaded anywhere, so you can use the app with confidence.
Notes:
• Processing may take longer depending on the video resolution, duration, and your device. Please sit back and enjoy a good cup of coffee while you wait.
• You can also save photos manually while stepping through the video frame by frame.
• Saving photos from videos is free. Saving upscaled, blurred, or miniature-effect photos requires a Pro upgrade.
• Saving multiple split scenes at once requires a Pro upgrade or the Scene Split Pack. Saving individual scene videos is, of course, free.
