UniLift is a student-focused ridesharing platform designed to simplify transportation while helping users connect with others heading to the same destinations, including schools, campuses, and local events.
With UniLift, users can easily create or join rides based on their schedule and location. The platform enables cost-sharing for transportation expenses such as fuel, parking, and vehicle wear. UniLift operates on a cost-sharing model, meaning drivers do not provide commercial transportation services or generate profit—they simply offset their travel costs.
Beyond transportation, UniLift helps users discover popular destinations and events, making it easier to coordinate shared rides to social activities, festivals, and community gatherings.
Drivers are independent users who voluntarily offer available seats in their vehicle. UniLift does not own, operate, or manage vehicles, and does not employ drivers.
To promote a safe and reliable experience, the app includes:
• User profiles with optional visibility features
• A post-ride rating system
• Ride confirmation via QR code scan before payment is processed
Payments are securely handled through Stripe. UniLift does not store or process any credit card information.
UniLift is currently available in Québec, Canada, and is primarily designed for students, although it is open to all users aged 18 and over.
All users must agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy before accessing the platform.
