Clearer payment terms at checkout, the same sentence as our Terms: You pay when you hire. FixZone holds the payment and doesn't release it to the provider until you confirm the job is done, or until 24 hours pass after the provider marks it as finished without you opening a claim. If the provider cancels, you get a 100% refund. Tapping a chat notification now opens that conversation directly. The Home header has a new look. Your commission stays 15%.

FixZone 3.1.6 — More privacy: the Facebook kit inside the app is now used only for signing in. It no longer sends app usage events or any advertising identifier to Meta. Sign in with Facebook is ready (on iPhone it uses Facebook Limited Login). Assistant fix: Smart Match quick suggestions now search the right service, and if your description matches none, it asks you to pick the category. Your commission stays 15%. IF YOU ARE UPDATING FROM AN EARLIER VERSION INSTANT ESTIMATES THAT EXPLAIN THEMSELVES Describe the job in your own words and get a price range for that specific task, with the confidence level and a plain-language line saying where the number comes from. If the description points to a safety risk (gas, an electrical panel, structural work), you get the safety instruction and a recommendation to hire a licensed pro instead of a price. ONE WORD FOR THE WORK: JOBS Clients and providers now share a single "Jobs" tab. Providers see Pending, Active and History in one place, with the commission for each job shown before they accept. FOUNDERS PROGRAM - Founding clients: a welcome gift of 150 FixCoins when their spot is confirmed, a Founder badge visible to providers, and priority support. - Founding providers (200, for life): 10% commission on their first 5 completed jobs, then 15% frozen for life. - Up to 5,000 client spots and 200 provider spots. FIXCOINS Use FixCoins for 5% off jobs of $300 or more, up to $15 per job. FixCoins never expire while you keep using FixZone (365-day rolling window). INVITE FRIENDS Share your personal link or copy it in one tap. When a friend completes their first job, you get a credit worth 5% of that job, up to $15: FixCoins if you are a client, commission off your next job if you are a provider. ALSO - Every screen in English and Spanish. - Bug fixes and performance improvements. FixZone charges one thing: a 15% commission on completed jobs. No membership, no paying for leads.
