WHAT WE FIXED TODAY - December 18, 2025
CRITICAL BUG FIXES:
1. Advertiser Test Button Visibility
- Issue: The "Test with Demo Account" button was visible in the App Store production build
- Fix: Wrapped test button in #if DEBUG so it only appears in development builds
- Impact: Production users no longer see test/demo functionality
2. Legacy Listing Expiration
- Issue: Older advertiser listings without expiration dates could remain active indefinitely
- Fix: Updated subscription logic to require explicit expiration dates
- Impact: Ensures all ads have proper expiration tracking
3. Early Renewal Day Preservation
- Issue: Advertisers renewing early were losing remaining paid days
- Fix: Renewal now adds 1 month to existing expiration instead of replacing it
- Impact: Advertisers keep all paid days when renewing early
4. Duplicate Email Prevention
- Issue: Multiple app launches could send duplicate expiration warning emails
- Fix: Added email tracking flags to prevent duplicate emails
- Impact: Advertisers receive one email per day maximum
5. UI Performance
- Issue: Expiration check on app launch could block UI with many listings
- Fix: Moved expiration check to background thread
- Impact: App launches smoothly without UI blocking
6. Email Compliance
- Issue: Email templates missing required physical mailing address
- Fix: Added physical address footer to all email templates
- Impact: Meets email service provider requirements
7. Email Branding
- Issue: Backend default email sender was "RestaurantOps" (old app name)
- Fix: Changed default sender to "GF Cost Tracker"
- Impact: Professional branding consistency

All fixes are production-safe, maintain backward compatibility, and include no breaking changes. The test button issue has been resolved, and all advertiser subscription logic has been improved for better reliability and user experience.
