This update is all about bug fixes — most importantly, the qibla compass: • It no longer sticks when you turn your phone; it rotates smoothly • It turns green with a short haptic tap when you are facing the qibla • If the reading is not reliable we tell you, instead of showing a direction that may be wrong • On devices without a compass sensor we say so; you can still find the qibla on the map • The qibla screen now works with VoiceOver

We're now Namaz Vakti. Same app, same icon — we simplified the name so it is easier to find. NEW • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets — free, no need to open the app • A live countdown in the Dynamic Island and on the Lock Screen • The athan now sounds in Focus and Sleep modes; the dawn athan is no longer silenced • The Turkish-maqam athan is now free for everyone • A new look: a sky that follows the time of day, in gold and navy • The daily verse and du'a were refreshed — now with the Arabic, tap to open the surah at that verse • Friday prayer added to the Prayer Guide (first sunnah, fard, final sunnah — Hanafi and Shafi'i) • A What's New screen on the first launch after an update FIXES • Some wording in the Prayer Guide was corrected against Diyanet sources (takbir order in the eid prayer, the Shafi'i dawn qunut, the Shafi'i witr) • The daily verse and du'a did not load when location permission had not been granted • Pending athan notifications drifted when the time zone changed while travelling • Turning off athan notifications also silenced the prayer-tracking reminders • Holy night and eid notifications could be dropped when the pre-prayer reminder was on • The prayer badge in the Prayer Guide appeared shifted by one prayer
