Apple Music requirement
An active Apple Music subscription is required to play walk-up songs in Dugout Dude and is not included with your Dugout Dude purchase. External MP3 and WAV files are not supported. Apple Music is currently the only streaming music service supported.
AI Announcer Voice Credits
Each account includes a generous annual allotment of AI voice generation credits. While there's no limit on teams or players, Dugout Dude is designed for individual coaches and parents managing their own team, not for running an entire league from a single account.
We work hard to keep costs low for teams, and unlimited league-wide generation isn't sustainable at our price point. If you need to run a full league, reach out to us at support@dugoutdude.app and we'll find a solution that works.
Subscriptions & Purchases
Pro Dude Annual is an auto-renewing yearly subscription. Pricing is shown in the app and on the App Store purchase screen and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions or App Store → Account → Subscriptions.
Founders Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no renewal.

First I want to say I’m an avid review reader but never leave a review, this app I HAD TO review!!!! This was about the 4th walkout song app I downloaded. This one is easily the best! The ease of setup and matinee is unmatched. Yes I paid for the full version but I did that on 2 others! Has decent voices built in with easy previews, was linked to my Apple Music so I could simply search the songs from this app not download them from Apple and upload to here, and simple and easy to use at the ballpark. AND a login so it was easy for me as the manger to make the songs and another parent running the speaker at the game to login in and access it. So many reasons THIS is the app we choose to use! Thank you Dugout Dude!

I like the layout of the app. I’m still building my team’s walk ups, but so far wether I’m previewing or in “game mode” it can be hit or miss when it comes to lag, from a split second to 2-3 seconds so that I maybe only hear the last couple letters of a batter’s name, if at all. Hoping once I have everyone’s songs arranged and put it in offline mode so the songs can be downloaded that will alleviate the issue. I’ve tried both with and without the “keep Bluetooth awake” feature onUPDATE: the strangest thing is the app seems to work perfectly with both an old Bluetooth speaker I have as well as a new speaker I purchased from Anker. (Still have the problem on newer Sonos and JBL models, which the developer says is common with these brands and other walk up apps as well, cannot confirm) The developer has been very responsive and polite offering better understanding and potential workarounds. Luckily my first time using the new speaker I bought was also the first time I used this app in a game and aside from some personal hiccups, there were no delays. Just a couple other audio anomalies I’m not sure were app or device related. Will contact developer again.

Hey g.jerome, since posting this we worked through these issues over email and I appreciate the time you took with the troubleshooting. Honestly, it's tough troubleshooting when one speaker works perfectly and two others perform differently using the same app and same songs.For other readers: smart speakers like Sonos and JBL Partybox can be challenging for any iOS app that combines voice and music playback. BallparkDJ, the longest-running walkup app, has dedicated support pages for these same speakers: https://www.ballparkdj.com/music-issues. If you're using a smart speaker and running into issues, please email support@dugoutdude.app before requesting a refund. We work through these speaker issue on a case by case basis.I also offered g.jerome a direct refund of his Pro purchase. That offer remains open if needed.

Easy set up. Voice announcements included. Easily add music from Apple Music within the app!.. the only issue I've come across is setting up the lineup. It's pretty hard to get the name right on the slot and for it to click into place. Especially the bottom of the lineup. Sometimes the last few names aren't visible

I tried a few different apps and settled on this one! It was the easiest to navigate and set up! The response time from the developer on social media when I had an issue was very, very quick and resolved instantly! I think the price for the pro plan was very reasonable as well!

NEW: Volume Restore Helper:
- Settings > Volume Restore Helper: tap button to Enable/Disable
- Some Bluetooth speakers get "stuck" at a lower volume after a walkup fades out, causing the next walkup to play too quiet. This new setting fixes that.
- Especially helpful for Sonos, JBL Partybox, and DeWalt portable speakers.
