A payment link in a happening's payment details is now tappable — before, you had to retype it. Founders choose whether a family is local to its city or global. Family chat carries an invite button, and the invite sheet shows names beside faces and narrows as you type. Plus notification, video and layout fixes.

Group invite links Make one link for a whole crowd, and see what it does before you share it. Links expire on their own, and you can gift a member a group link too. Give and tip Donate to a happening by card, and send a tip on somebody's photo in an event gallery. Chat A pinned area at the top of a chat, so a new arrival reads what matters first. Needs you, in one list Everything waiting on you is in one list, and you can accept all friend requests at once. Answering a request clears the card that asked. Your profile Change your photo right where you tap it. A gallery for every happening Everyone who went can add photos and short videos, in HD. Heart your favourites, sort by most loved or newest, and open any of them full screen — turn your phone for landscape. You can remove what you shared, and report anything that shouldn't be there. Secret families, sealed A secret family's happenings are now encrypted on the host's phone: the name, description, place and photos can only be read by the family. Notifications still show members the real name. Gender, only if you want An optional, private gender field on sign-up and in Edit Profile. It never appears on your profile. Invite freely There's no invite balance any more — invite who you like, with a daily limit to keep spam out. Always up to date Profiles and families refresh as they change, without leaving and coming back. Safer reporting Reporting something inside a secret family can now include what you saw, so our moderators can act on it. You're told before anything is shared. Videos on offerings Providers can add a short video to what they offer, so you can see a place, a practice or a person before you book. Photos in families Share pictures straight into a family. In a secret family they are encrypted on your phone before they are uploaded, so Unite cannot open them. Links show what they are Paste a link into a happening or a message and it arrives as a card with a title and a picture, instead of a bare address. A simpler way to share The + beside a family's message field now leads with Photo and Video, with polls, suggestions, discussions and announcements underneath. Cropping a picture is now optional — send it whole if you'd rather. Explore loads in one go The Explore tab arrives as a single page instead of filling in section by section. Longer descriptions, room to write Description fields grow with what you type instead of trapping you in a small window. Paying by UPI, in India Happenings in India can now be paid for directly, host to guest, by UPI. Unite never holds this money and cannot refund it — your host confirms the payment and issues the ticket. Unite now asks for your location up front, and explains exactly what we do with it: it's used only while the app is open, rounded to about a kilometre before any distance is worked out, and never sold or shared with advertisers. Without it there's no map to show you. • Offerings can now have several options — a shorter session, a group version, a workshop — each with its own price, length and photo. • Hosts set their own cancellation window, and the cancellation screen tells guests exactly what it is. • "Right Now" is one name for available-today offerings, everywhere in the app. • Gifted tickets are redeemable, and invitations can be withdrawn. • Polls and proposals in a family now reach the family. • Invite friends is the first thing on your You tab. • Faster, steadier loading, a fix for a crash when searching contacts, and a lot of layout and translation polish.

Finding friends, made easier — and quieter. • Friends already on Unite. With your permission, Unite can check your address book for people who are already members, and keep checking every few days so a friend who joins later still finds you. Phone numbers only, compared and discarded — nothing is stored. Switch it off any time in Settings → Finding friends. • Better suggestions. People are ranked by the skills, interests and connections you share, including the people whoever invited you already knows. • One number. Connection requests, invitations and anything else waiting on you now add up to a single badge. Notifications you actually chose • You hear about someone's happenings only if you have switched their bell on. Connecting with a person no longer subscribes you to them. • Per-person, per-family and per-chat controls, all listed together in Settings so you can always find and undo them. • Quiet hours are respected, with a tidy catch-up of what came in overnight. More private by default • Anyone outside your own distance range is now described as "Far away" rather than a number, so an approximate distance only ever appears for people close enough to actually meet. • A secret family's chat — and any happening held inside one — is end-to-end encrypted between its members. Happenings, Offerings and chat • Book an offering for right now, and see the hours a facilitator is genuinely working. • Browse offerings straight from the map, with "from" prices on browse cards. • Say what you are enquiring about before you send the first message, and add a personal note when you invite someone. • Clear a conversation from your own list. For facilitators • Booking a session asks which date you want before it asks how you would like to pay. • A booking request now names the price, the meeting point and how far away it is, so you can answer it without leaving the notice. • Your payouts screen lists your own offerings, and confirming a booking updates the screen behind it. Also: larger, more readable type throughout, a faster first launch, a sign-in reliability fix, and a long list of map, layout and translation fixes.
