This update improves the workout experience between iPhone and Apple Watch: iPhone workouts now mirror more reliably on Apple Watch. HealthKit sync and workout handoff on the Watch are now more stable. Sets, rest periods, and workout progress now update more accurately between Watch and iPhone during training. New: you can now show your heart rate on Apple Watch while mirroring an iPhone workout.

This update significantly improves the Apple Watch experience: You can now see the exercises included in each workout and the number of sets at a glance for a better overview. In addition, you can manually refresh your data on Apple Watch. We also improved how edited weights and reps are saved and further refined sync between iPhone and Apple Watch.

Set counting on the Apple Watch has been improved: double safeguard against over-completion, persistent deduplication during session import on the iPhone, cleanup of orphaned send queues, and more precise swipe detection to prevent accidental exercise changes.

Save Values — You Decide When you change weight or reps during a workout, a new toggle lets you choose whether those changes carry over to your next session.
