HOW AI WORKS IN LUMIN Lumin's AI features are powered by OpenAI, a third-party service. Before anything is sent, Lumin shows you exactly what leaves your device and asks your permission — nothing is shared until you agree. Your journal entries and prayers stay on your device unless you specifically ask Lumin to reflect on one. Your name, email, and payment details are never sent. You can turn AI off at any time in Settings → AI & Privacy, and the rest of the app keeps working. NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED You can read, journal, pray, and subscribe without signing up. Creating an account is optional — it simply keeps your history in sync across your devices. Lumin was built without streaks, devotion counts, or guilt-based reminders. Missing a day isn't a failure — it's just a day. Grace comes first, always. Silence is a valid answer to prayer, and Lumin treats it that way. Ask Lumin Conversations hold steady now: replies stay put, and the thread no longer shifts under you while you read. Lumin draws on what you've actually been reading and writing, and no longer invents a profile for a brand-new account. The Daily Bible Challenge Five questions to sit with no longer end in a percentage or a grade. The closing screen says plainly how the sitting went, and treats meeting a new answer as gain. The Faith Coach now speaks to your season instead of to a generic stranger. Journal Drafts stay with the account that wrote them, autosaving is steadier, and a verse that surfaces while you write can now be kept. Also in this release • The weekly look-back appears for long journals, not only short ones. • Commentary opens on the chapter you're actually reading. • Subscriptions show a real renewal date and honor billing grace periods. • Your account identifier is no longer sent to the AI, and anything Lumin keeps on your device stays with the account that made it. A note on Pro Verses that found you and the weekly look-back are now part of Pro. The verse that meets you at the end of a sitting is still free to read, and praying, journaling, sitting in the quiet — the whole daily rhythm — stays free.
