This is a very good way to pass the time, I’ll give you that. The main issue is that the game very clearly wants you to “waste” your hearts by putting items in very inconvenient places, making you start over. In the Ratatouille level, for example, how on Earth is anyone supposed to know, intuitively, that you need to tap the rat to get the oil for the pan??Things like salting the potatoes before being able to put them on the grill makes sense, but why would I ever know to swipe in a certain direction without any cues? Seems like a very obvious way to get people to watch ads or purchase hints, as well as more hearts to keep going. The game is cute, but there’s no reason that you should need to put ingredients in the same step in the pan in a specific order. I’m not saying to make the game easy. Just not quite so trick-heavy.

Seconding some other voices that I’m not getting the hate! This was the PERFECT cooking game! The graphics are super consistent and appealing (like the food genuinely looks so delicious lol), and the mechanics of gameplay are—hands down—WAY better than any other similar games. It genuinely gets you feeling involved in the actual cooking process. Ads are present, but definitely only at the start and end of levels, which is entirely reasonable (and honestly, to be expected if you’ve played literally any other mobile games). There was another cooking game that I tried with way better reviews, but one that literally had ads IN THE MIDDLE OF LEVELS. Like for NO reason. And that one somehow has 5 stars on here? Everything else I’ve discussed was also far inferior to this version. Make it make sense. THIS one is a winner, and I’m awaiting the release of the new levels very eagerly, plus the addition of even more not yet previewed in the future! Keep up the amazing work!

I absolutely love this game, I love how every level is different and unique in its own way, some levels even have mini games which is very fun. I especially love the levels where you can actually serve costumers. Some people have complained about the ads, but they don’t interrupt the levels so I don’t mind it. Im nearing the end, so I’m just waiting on more levels. I love the variety of dishes from different cultures. They have American style food, and a lot of Asian dishes, Italian food, some Egyptian foods, and a few Mexican dishes, etc. The diversity is great, but I’ve noticed that in over 80 levels, 80 different dishes, there is not one African dish?? This really upsets me, I love this game but I wish there could be more inclusivity? There are a lot of great African style dishes that could be in this game!! So can the creators include them?!

I like the concept of the game. The style is really cute and I like the sounds go along with it. I just wish it actually gave you instructions on what to do like cooking mama does. This one just leads you to your own devices, but then gets mad when you don’t do the items in the right order even though it didn’t tell you what order to put the items in. Second are the odds not only are their ads all over the screen between every single level there is an ad. Third some of the ads that pop up will happen when you click to go to the next level. And some of the ads that’ll pop up and take over the entire screen will open up Safari or Google or whatever browsing site you’re using when you try to close the app the first time.
