Flags Map has a fresh look. Atlas, Log, Insights, and You use cleaner navy headings and cobalt controls, and the widgets match. Travel badges and your continent collection are redesigned, so you see what you've earned at a glance.

Flags Map has a new icon: a suitcase covered in flags. In You, the links to Flags Schengen and Flags Tax show their new icons and names, and a new More about Flags row opens our website. Contact Support now opens the Flags Map support form.

More accurate countries and dates. • Photos taken on a beach, on a small island, or near a border now land in the right country. Gibraltar and San Marino count as places of their own. • Each photo is dated by the time zone where you took it, not the one your phone is in. A morning in Sydney no longer shows up as the day before. • Flags corrects the days you already have the next time you open it. It all happens on your phone.

A short note from the maker now appears after your map fills in for the first time, asking for a rating. It shows at most twice and never while you're doing something. Flags Kit: the other Flags apps are one tap away from the last onboarding step and from Profile.

• You can now rate Flags Map right inside the app • Under-the-hood improvements and fixes

Meet the Personal Atlas — the biggest Flags update yet. • All-new design with five tabs: Atlas, Insights, Log, Compare, You • iPad support, with layouts made for the big screen • Private iCloud sync — your map follows you to every device, no account needed • Badges are now free in the Compare tab • Sharper globe rendering and dozens of fixes

Simplified Design

Say hello to Flags: Countries Visited Map — same app, sharper focus. We've renamed DaysAround to better reflect what it does best: turn your photo history into a private map of every country you've visited, automatically. This release also brings a handful of small improvements and fixes under the hood to make your map faster to build and smoother to browse. As always: no GPS, no account, no cloud — everything stays on your iPhone.

What's New in This Version # Schengen Countdown Widget Add a widget to your Home Screen showing your remaining Schengen 90/180 visa days at a glance. Available in small and medium sizes with a color-coded gauge that turns orange and red as you approach your limit. # Schengen Live Activity When you're within 5 days of your Schengen limit, a Live Activity appears on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island so you always know where you stand — no need to open the app. # Daily Schengen Alerts Receive a daily notification when you're in the critical zone (85-90 days used), counting down your remaining days. Notifications stop automatically once you're out of range. # Improved Schengen Accuracy Schengen tracking now uses the correct 180-day rolling window calculation, matching how border authorities actually count your days. # Travel Insights Notifications Get weekly travel insights based on your data — top countries, cities, seasonal patterns, badge progress, and more. Up to 52 unique insights per year, all generated locally from your travel history. # Tax & Visa Alerts Widget A new widget showing your active tax residency and visa alerts, with Schengen status at a glance. Requires DaysAround Pro.

1. Trial users no longer see "Subscribe Now" — they're already subscribed, so they now see "Manage Subscription" like active subscribers 2. Easier citizenship + residency setup — adding your first passport auto-sets tax residency to the same country, plus a "Same as passport" quick button if residency is empty 3. Diverse "On This Day" notifications — each country now appears at most once in the 14-day window instead of repeating the same country every few days

Use the map and timeline forever free. Pay only if you want the smart layer that keeps you compliant and traveling with intention.

Notifications to Stay Compliant Turn on weekly reminders. Just open the app — we’ll scan your photos and keep your travel log accurate, automatically.

Improved subscription management. Added lifetime offer.
