SNAP THE RECEIPT
Take a photo or upload one. Pie reads every item and price for you, along with tax, tip, fees and discounts. Prefer to skip the camera? Type the items in by hand.
TAP WHO HAD WHAT
Add the people at the table, pick a person, then tap what they ordered. Shared the nachos? Tap it for everyone who had some, and Pie splits it evenly between them.
FAIR TO THE PENNY
Tax, tip and fees are split by what each person actually ordered, not just divided evenly. Every amount is worked out to the cent, so everyone's slices always add up to the total.
GET PAID BACK
Tap Request next to someone's name to ask for their share with Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle or a text message. Pie remembers your favorite.
KNOW WHO STILL OWES YOU
Every split is saved in History. Mark people as paid, see what you're still owed at a glance, and keep it all in sync across your devices with iCloud.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account, no ads, no tracking.
• Most receipts are read right on your phone. A photo goes to Anthropic's Claude AI only when Pie can't read it and you allow it, and Pie doesn't keep it. You can see the exact instructions Claude receives right in the app.
• Your splits stay on your device and in your own iCloud.
Made for restaurants, bars, coffee runs, groceries with roommates, and anything else you split with friends.
Ratings & Reviews
• New "None" tip option. Receipts that were already paid, like a grocery run, no longer get a tip added.
• Your first scan is faster, and receipts that need Claude's help come back sooner.
• Item names are easier to read: "CHKN PARM SAND" becomes "Chicken Parm Sandwich".
• Share PieSplit with friends right from Settings, and check out Slicey, our app for cutting pizza and cake into even slices.
• Better spacing and larger text support throughout.
