• The title's artwork while it loads While a movie or episode starts, you see its artwork instead of a black screen, fading into the video as soon as it begins. • A richer progress bar It shows how much video has already loaded and marks the intro, recap and end credits in yellow. • Preview while you scrub With the Aether engine, scrubbing the bar shows the frame where you'll land. • Sign in with a code on iPhone and iPad You can sign in to your account without a password by confirming a code on another device where you're already signed in. • Playlists keep loading in the background You can leave the app while a playlist loads: loading continues and the Dynamic Island shows its progress. • More varied recommendations The row now also draws on your list and the titles you've finished, and changes every day. • More movies recognized Improved TMDB matching. • Movies and series more stable on Aether Aether engine updated to 7.15.0: with providers that refuse reconnections, playback no longer gets stuck on the spinner. • Audio and subtitles remembered per title With Aether, the audio track and subtitles you pick for a movie or episode come back when you reopen it. • Volume visible with the buttons Pressing the volume buttons in the player shows the level, even with the controls hidden.

• No more shutdowns on live channels with VLC Switching channels with the VLC engine could close the app abruptly, right after the video started.

• Download an episode from its card The download button now also sits in the corner of the card: previously the only way was the long-press menu. • KIPTV logo redesigned Wordmark and icons redrawn across every platform. • Playback engines updated The Aether engine has been updated, with steadier live playback through interruptions and no frozen frame when returning to live. KSPlayer, VLC and mpv are updated too. • Image subtitles visible on Aether PGS, DVB and VobSub tracks did not always appear. • Live channels back where they belong On some providers the channel list came up empty because of the format of the date added. • No more duplicate episodes Episodes the provider delivers twice no longer show up twice in the season. • The "Skip intro" button is back On several series the button did not appear because the episode was not being recognized. • The app is no longer quit on Mac On macOS 27 the system terminated the app after a few minutes in the background. • Cleaner titles The country prefix is now removed even when it is wrapped in decorations.

• Age ratings with the real pictograms Age ratings are no longer hand-drawn shapes: you now see the genuine marks of the classification boards from all the world's major countries. • Choose which tabs you see, and in what order In Settings › Display you decide which tabs appear and how they're arranged: Movies, Series and Live move wherever you like. The page is split into named sections, and "Recently added" now switches on separately for movies and for live TV. • Audio and subtitle delay with Aether too Audio and subtitle delay now works on the Aether engine as well. • The guide ID can be typed in by hand If your provider serves a channel's schedule under an ID that isn't in the list, you can now type it in and assign it directly. Reopen the picker and you'll find it checked, even if the catalog doesn't list it. • Support tells you when a fix is on its way Days pass between a fix being ready and it reaching your device. Tickets now have a "Fix on the way" status naming the version that will carry it: it stays open, you can still write, and it closes itself when that version ships. • Aether engine updated Aether engine updated to 6.85.0: live channels start much faster. • "Recently added" no longer repeats the same title Providers load the same movie into several categories or qualities, and the row ended up showing the same title over and over. The row now groups the copies and shows only the main title, with a badge counting how many there are. • Player fixes On catch-up and replay content the scrubber works again and, after an error, the channel no longer falls into a reload loop that drained the provider's connections and forced you to restart the app. Aether's subtitles no longer linger on screen while the video is paused, and appear at the right moment. On MPV the frame counter no longer doubles its value on interlaced streams. • The version picker responds where you see it In the fan of cards showing a title's versions, each card's touch area didn't match where it was drawn: with many versions you ended up hitting the wrong card, or nothing at all. • Improved metadata matching algorithm • UI fixes on iOS/iPadOS/tvOS 27 On iPad and Mac the avatar and the "..." button return to their place in the top bar instead of wrapping below the tabs, and the avatar is round again. The large image atop detail pages reaches the edge without the blurred cut that appeared with the new OS, the Live categories panel shares its background with the list, and edit panels close as soon as you tap Save.

• The new Home tab A Home of your own on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV: a smart hero with the titles to resume, dynamic rows, "Tonight on TV" and custom feeds. You can customize or hide the Home and turn it back on from settings • Trakt integration Connect your Trakt account: progress and watched states stay in sync, you can rate a film or an episode when you finish it, import your history and choose which playlists the integration applies to. • IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic ratings Film and series pages show the IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Trakt scores right in the hero. You can also copy settings from one playlist to another. • Sagas treated like a series The "Next" button in the player also suggests the following films in the same saga, and a collection's page has Play, Resume and Watch again just like a TV series. • Quick playlist switching on Apple TV Pressing Menu from the tab bar brings up the playlist selector before you leave: switch profile in one gesture. • Aether engine updated Aether engine updated to 6.75.0: it now lists every audio and subtitle track and starts VOD faster. • More reliable Chromecast and AirPlay Live channels over AirPlay now reach non-Apple TVs too. Several Chromecast bugs have been fixed. • EPG source easier to find The EPG source picker now also finds the IDs the guide doesn't declare, so more channels get the right programs. • More responsive The Home and detail pages open faster. • Player fixes Language tracks are clearer, and your preferred language is applied more intelligently even when tracks have odd names; with MPV the video is pixel-aligned, no more blurry logos; closing the player during a fallback no longer leaves ghost audio; reloading a live channel keeps the engine you picked by hand. • Continue watching fixes The row updates right after you close the player, resume works across devices for series too, and when a new episode is out you get "Resume SxEy" instead of "Watch again". • Metadata fixes Titles with a country prefix or a trailing year now find the right metadata, and a hand-picked poster survives a restart. • Arabic fixes In the player the horizontal gestures, the swipe between info tabs and the seek arrows follow the right direction, with Arabic-Indic digits on the buttons. • Apple TV fixes A channel preview goes full screen without reloading it, and "Require PIN to open Settings" now takes effect. • Other fixes The password reset link works even without the app installed, and incognito searches are no longer saved.

• Aether, the new playback engine A new video engine, now the default on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV: faster startup, channel zapping in about a second, and full support for background, Picture in Picture, AirPlay, and Chromecast. • Next episodes right inside the player The player has a new "Next" tab with the rest of the season: jump to the next episode without leaving playback. • Download a whole season, richer offline Download an entire season with one button and cancel all in-progress and queued downloads at once. You can now skip the intro on downloaded episodes too. • Sagas become folders in search Movies from the same saga are gathered into a book-style folder in the results: open it and find every chapter in order, without hunting them down one by one. • mpv, another playback engine MPV joins the list of engines available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV: one more option for when a stream misbehaves. • Categories panel on iPad in landscape With iPad in landscape, the Live TV categories stay pinned to the side, both in the channel list and in the program guide. • UX and UI improvements The eye wants its share too, and as always attention to detail makes the difference. • Dolby Atmos, as it should be KIPTV detects Dolby Atmos tracks more accurately and selects the most suitable player for Dolby Vision HLS streams, for a more reliable audio and video experience. • UX/UI improvements The built-in browser, Support Center, and numerous navigation details have been refined to make the app more pleasant to use. • More reliable IPTV providers Improved handling of incomplete or incorrect responses from IPTV providers, so the catalog can be retrieved more reliably. • Apple TV sessions preserved Restoring the app no longer interrupts active sessions on Apple TV.

• Every version of a title, all in one place A movie or series page now has an “Other versions” section listing the other copies in your playlist, so you can pick the quality or language you prefer. • Pick up where you left off, even offline Your position in downloaded content is saved on the device and transferred to your account as soon as you’re back online, so you find your place on your other devices too. • “Pin to top” for channels and categories Press and hold a channel or a category to move it to the top of the list, so the things you watch most stay within easy reach. • Background audio on Apple TV In Settings you can choose to keep audio playing when you leave the player or send the app to the background. • Play right away with your preferred player Choose the engine to start playback with (KSPlayer, VLC, or AVPlayer) on every launch. And with Premium you can open movies and channels directly in external players (VLC or Infuse). • Customize movie and series metadata When a title is matched to the wrong information, you can fix it by hand by picking the right TMDB result, or remove the match entirely. • More control over subtitles and audio Search for more subtitle options on OpenSubtitles (enable it in the OpenSubtitles settings) and adjust audio and subtitle delay. Your preferences are remembered for each item. • New carousel layout for Live TV The Live TV section can now show channels as horizontal carousels, just like Movies and Series. You can change your choice in settings or directly in the player. • More reliable playback Improved automatic player-selection algorithm on iOS and Apple TV. • TV guide visible right at startup Custom program guides (EPG) now appear right from the first time you open the app, with no need to close and reopen it.

• Skip intro, recap and end credits Skip the opening titles, previous-episode recaps and end credits of movies and series with a single tap. • Mark movies and whole series as watched Keep track of what you've already seen: posters of watched titles dim and show a checkmark. • More compact playlist menu on iOS The playlist menu has been redesigned with a handy row of quick icons that's easier to use. • Default audio and subtitle language, live too Set your preferred audio and subtitle language from a dedicated section in settings.
