Game itself is simple to get into and a little strategic vs RNG. And various heroes with their own style: brute force, debuff, etc. As a drawback, I think it’s a little too simple and might feel repetitive after playing a while. And there is a glitch that forces app closure: if using the bonus card tile too much and if run out of bonus cards to pick when triggered, game is stuck on a blank bonus card screen with nothing to pick and no way to return to game. And I thought there were no ads for a long time, then they eventually get forced onto you, but not terribly obtrusive. I was really disappointed when they finally showed up after such a long while playing.

I’ve had this game for a while and originally I enjoyed it. That’s until I logged in this week to play and see they pushed a massive update. My characters are now impossible to level due to the new progression system. I’ve beat a few levels and gotten 1,200 upgrade points, to level up I need 20,000,000. Can’t really beat new levels because even though I wasn’t struggling before the update, it’s nearly impossible to progress now. Dying on wave 1 because I didn’t get the right choices. Not to mention there’s a million ads now. They tried to monetize the game and instead destroyed it. Also who’s brilliant idea was “watch an ad for a 10 minute boost” then the add is 3+ minutes long and by the time you can start using your boost 40% of it is already gone. Also every time a level ends it’s obnoxious to flash a “do you want to buy a $50 pack?” A month ago I would have suggested this game, now I say save your time and skip.

Edit: Game is still fun, I’ve been farming lower levels. Apparently you can’t earn blue diamonds that way. So that’s kinda on me. Anyways my complaint about the rebalance still stands.Previously:Game is so fun but this last release is really buggy. Can’t access the heroes menu even though I already had access. Also the rebalance means I can’t even get close to floors I was easily completing prior to it. Can’t figure out how to get this new meta xp so I can unlock stuff.

So I do have to say I like this game but already found a bug on day one. Was playing the knight and had extra cards and stomp as %80 of my field, ran out of cards and was stuck on the choose a card screen. When there are no cards to choose the game doesn’t know what to do.’
