Hi there! Our favorite part of this update: your photos no longer have to fit a single shape. • Choose your format: Create square, portrait or landscape images in 1:1, 3:4, 4:3, 9:16 or 16:9. Just pick one while taking or cropping your photo. • Ready for bigger screens: Portt now makes much better use of the space on iPad and iPhone Duo. • Fewer permission prompts: We now ask for permission to save to your Photos only when you first save an image. • A little smoother all around: Plus small improvements and bug fixes. Pick a photo and set off on your next trip through time. Where will you go first?

Minor bug fix that occur after taking photo.

Portt now knows which years are worth seeing — wherever you're standing. WHICH YEARS ARE WORTH VISITING HERE Tap Important Dates on the year wheel and Portt finds the moments that shaped the place you're in: an ancient city, an old neighbourhood, a single landmark. Pick one and the wheel takes you straight there. YOUR TRIPS, BACKED UP Every photo and transformation is now saved to your own iCloud. Get a new phone or reinstall the app, and it all comes back — your subscription too. A GALLERY THAT KNOWS PLACES AND ERAS Your trips are grouped by where you took them, with eras across the top. Import a photo you already have and Portt notices, keeping every era of one view together. WHAT EVERYONE'S RECREATING Trends are here: the looks going around right now, ready to try on your own photo. Find them in Explore and on Home. ON THIS WEEK, YOUR WAY Tell Portt the places, eras and topics you love, and On This Week puts those moments first. AND Choose the app's language in Settings, a steadier first-run tour, and location search that keeps the exact place you picked.

Our biggest update yet. EXPLORE HISTORY, THEN STEP INTO IT A new Explore tab gathers the moments worth revisiting — find one that catches you and put yourself right in it. Much more local history is on the way. YOUR PHOTOS NOW QUEUE UP Transformations run in the background, so you're no longer stuck on one screen while you wait. Start another, browse your gallery, or leave the app entirely — we'll tell you the moment one is ready. A FASTER WAIT The story behind your photo now arrives while the image is still being made, instead of after it. Our biggest update yet. We've tuned up the time machine. Here's what changed on this trip. Easier-to-read history The story behind each era now arrives as clear, bite-sized info cards, so the history lands at a glance instead of in a wall of text. New ways to share the journey Before/After photo sharing to put your two eras side by side. Info Card sharing to pass along the real history behind each transformation. Refreshed video sharing with a smoother, more cinematic result. On This Day A new daily history feature, now on your home screen as a widget. Every day carries its own theme, surfacing the moments that actually happened on that date through history. Scene Context Tell the time machine a little more. You can now add scene context to your photos, giving the AI sharper direction and returning more precise, true-to-period results. A new way in A redesigned onboarding makes your first trip through time simpler than ever. A faster ride Performance improvements across the app for a smoother journey, start to finish.
