Made for iPhone Duo, with a larger code on wide screens. - SmartHomeQR now fits iPhone Duo closed, open and partly folded. - On an open iPhone Duo and a full screen iPad, Device Details shows a larger code, beside the details when the screen is wider than tall. - On iPhone Duo partly folded like a book, the device grid puts the same number of columns on each side of the fold, so no card sits across it. Device Details keeps the code off the fold too. - When iPhone Duo shows its buttons in a side bar, Edit, Cancel, Save and Done now sit there with the others, so Cancel and Save stay in reach while you type. - When the fold runs across the fullscreen code, the code moves to the larger side of the fold and zooms away from it, never across it. - On devices with Touch ID, iPhone Duo included, the app lock now says Touch ID instead of Face ID.

Smarter label reading, cleaner setup codes and a Rate fix. - Label reading got smarter at telling a setup code from a lot, batch or date number. - On Z-Wave and Ring labels, the printed setup code is now found even next to a serial, ID or address number. - Serial numbers such as ID12345678 and model numbers such as NOVA200 now keep their first letters. - A setup code you type or paste now keeps only its letters and digits. It is shown in groups, like 1234-5678, and copies without the dashes. - Rate SmartHomeQR in More now opens the App Store page where you can write a review.

Anonymous usage and crash reports, and a Share App fix. - New: anonymous usage and crash reports help us fix crashes and improve SmartHomeQR. They are on by default, including after this update. - They never include your codes, photos, or the names of your devices, rooms and homes. They carry a random identifier for this installation, never your name or any account. SmartHomeQR still shows no ads and never sells your data. - To turn them off, open More > Privacy and switch off "Share anonymous usage and crash reports". The Privacy Policy, now linked in the same section, explains what they contain. - Share App now sends the SmartHomeQR App Store listing. Before, it sent a link to a page that does not exist.

Clearer limits, a smoother upgrade and a few fixes you asked for. - If you hit a free limit while saving, the Premium screen now opens instead of an alert, and everything you typed is kept, so you can upgrade and finish the save. - An import that would go past a free limit now offers Upgrade to Premium, and a backup that adds nothing past a limit is no longer refused. - Restore Purchase now tells you what happened. - The Premium screen works at every text size and explains when a price cannot be shown. - Cards stand out properly in dark mode, and long names wrap at large text sizes. - The keyboard's Next key moves through the add device form. - App lock is now off by default on a new install. You can turn it on in More. If you already use the app, your lock stays as it was.

Two fixes on the Edit Device screen, both from user reports. The camera now scans labels close up. On phones with a macro-capable lens it switches to that lens when the label is near, focus favors close subjects on every device, and you can pinch to zoom on the live preview so a small QR code fills the frame. It captures as soon as the code decodes, without waiting for the rest of the label. The Notes field keeps the keyboard when you tap it again. Placing the cursor, selecting a word and long-pressing now work as in any text field, and a tap outside still dismisses the keyboard. This applies to every text field on the edit screens.

Matter setup codes are now read correctly. The app shows the 11-digit manual pairing code printed on the label, the one Apple Home and Google Home accept, for every Matter device. Existing devices are re-read automatically after the update. Also in this release: - A setup code you type or correct now wins everywhere it is shown, including the widget and Apple Watch. - Label scanning reads Matter codes split across lines and no longer confuses ratings, dates or serial numbers with a code. - HomeKit symbols are validated before a code is shown.
