Standby is an iPhone app for live theme park wait times, ride alerts, and Booking Assist. Track waits at 20+ theme parks worldwide, get notified when lines get shorter, and use Booking Assist to find and book eligible Multi Pass return times.
BOOKING ASSIST AT WALT DISNEY WORLD
Booking Assist is Standby's paid feature that watches for and automatically books eligible Lightning Lane Multi Pass return times at supported Walt Disney World attractions.
Connect through My Disney Experience, choose your rides and preferred return window, and select the eligible Friends & Family who will ride with you. Standby watches for matching openings and books when your party is eligible.
Choose First Available to book an opening and stop watching, or Earliest to keep looking for an earlier return time after booking. Use Watch Earlier for eligible existing bookings. Get notified when a booking is confirmed and keep your passes together in the app.
Every rider needs valid park admission, any required park reservation, and Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Admission and Multi Pass are purchased separately. It does not make your initial morning selections or book Single Pass attractions. Availability is not guaranteed.

Wait Time Alerts — Choose your maximum wait and get notified when a favorite ride reaches your target.
Line Snipe — Get alerts when rides go down and reopen, so you can spot another chance to ride.
Show Time Reminders — Get a reminder before supported shows and fireworks.
Alert Profiles — Save park-specific alert setups and activate them automatically when you arrive.
Live Activities & Widgets — Keep wait times and park information on your Lock Screen, Home Screen, and Dynamic Island with eligible paid access on supported devices.
Park Maps — Find attractions and open walking directions in Apple Maps.
Siri Shortcuts — Ask for wait times, show times, and park status without opening the app.

Passport & Ride Logging — Log your rides, collect park stamps, and look back at your ride history, personal stats, and weather from past visits. Share highlights from your park days.
Visit Tracking — With location access enabled, record your park visits and GPS walking routes. Revisit your route, distance, and timeline after the day is over.

I’m giving a 5 star review for the app because it’s new, so I don’t want to hurt its growth as I want to see it expand. I think it’s a missed opportunity that parks like Cedar Point haven’t been added yet, as this app primarily appeals to enthusiasts as opposed to the average visitor of a park, so adding those parks should be a priority. Additionally, only allowing one notification on the free plan is likely going to limit future growth/use of the app. I understand that the app’s development costs time and money and there should be a way for the developer to earn money from this, but I worry that paywalling this feature will restrict who uses this app and lead to less people utilizing the app. These are meant to be constructive feedback points since I’m really excited to see the future of this app!

Rilaye,Thanks a ton for the feedback. I really appreciate it, and I agree about adding more parks. Currently I am working on an update that will likely be pushed in the coming days. It will allow me to remotely add theme parks across the globe without needing to update the app.As for the 1 active notification, I do understand why 1 may not seem like a lot because it’s not. The struggle is I would rather have an ad free experience for everyone, rather than a free tier with ads. Giving users a taste of Standby or even just using it for a few days while on vacation, means the world. However it’s very difficult to monetize the app without advertisements everywhere. I’ve been using Standby on my theme park days and it’s quickly turned into one of those apps I open before I even get through the turnstiles. Being able to set my own max wait and get alerts when times drop has already saved me from wasting time in lines I don’t need to be in. The show reminders and live activities on the Lock Screen make it really easy to keep track of what’s coming up without constantly digging through the park app. I had a question for the developer and the response I got felt genuinely personal and thoughtful, which is rare enough that it deserves calling out. Between how well it works in the parks and how the person behind it treats customers, it’s an easy 5 stars from me.
