more Far and away the best points and timing based racing app I’ve been able to find. Super glad to have it. My only request would be to include position based scoring as well. Our local karting league uses a timed qualifier as well as a final race based on position. It would be awesome to integrate both into one championship. Still an awesome app in the meantime. Thanks to the developers for putting it together!
Developer Response Thank you so much for the feedback! Stay tuned, those changes are top priority right now and I am hoping to push an update later this week. Thanks again for the support and happy racing!

Before this I’ve tried setting them up on my own but it’s too hard cuz it’s difficult to stay on schedule and keep track of points at the same time. Also if circumstances change it’s difficult to update it. But RacePoint made me it much simpler and fun to have championships with my friends. I won’t ever have a competition without it again!

A brand-new post-race celebration: when an event finishes, RacePoint shows a
full-screen podium with the top three drivers, gold/silver/bronze trophies, a
champagne pop, and falling confetti — with Replay, Share, and Continue.
Clearer iCloud sync: when your iCloud storage is full, RacePoint now tells you
with an actionable "iCloud Storage Full" message instead of failing silently.
Also in this update:
• The celebration is a true full-screen takeover, and its confetti and champagne
now run for as long as it's open.
• The celebration header respects your custom track names.
• Podium polish: clear-glass Continue button, denser champagne spray that's no
longer clipped, and better-placed trophies.
• The new celebration text and storage warning are translated in all languages.

What’s New
Additions
• Settings has been redesigned into clean, grouped screens — General, Scoring, Drivers, Integrations, Sharing & Export, and Manage Championship each get their own page.
• Championship winners are now celebrated with a brand-new 3D podium scene, complete with trophies and champagne spray.
• Qualifying + Race championships display properly in standings: events are labeled Q/R and results show grid-to-finish movement instead of empty time columns.
• Season Standings gets a refreshed look with a native segmented control and the leader’s profile photo.
• Lap board participants can now be linked to your contacts.
• A unified clear Liquid Glass look across all cards and tiles, with improved tinting in both light and dark mode.
Fixes
• Championship sharing is far more reliable: invite links work again, accepting a shared championship succeeds, sharing one championship no longer shares your others, permissions are enforced correctly, and Stop Sharing no longer risks losing your data.
• The race order screen is fixed — the instruction banner aligns properly and reordering uses smooth drag and drop.
• The Points Preset picker no longer floods with duplicate built-in presets.
• Championship titles are now only counted for seasons that are archived and fully complete.
…plus many smaller layout, color, and polish fixes throughout the app.
1.5.6 Jun 12
RacePoint 1.5.5
• Smoother iCloud championship sharing. Shared championships now update permissions immediately when you re-accept an invite, and sharing is more reliable across reinstalls and new devices.
• Discord posts use your track names. Standings and template posts now show your custom track-name overrides everywhere a track appears — not just in the season schedule.
• Consistent theme switching. Switching between Light, Dark, and System no longer leaves cards in a half-themed state.
• Smarter Setup Engineer advice. Fixed several backwards recommendations, made the engine-layout picker actually affect setups, and added real wet-weather tuning advice.
• Driver stats stay current. Wins, podiums, and titles now refresh right away after you archive a season.

Finally seem to have resolved the cloud data related crashing!
1.5 Jun 8
Mostly a stability update. Fixed a bunch of crashes that were popping up during championship creation, heavy data entry, and iCloud sync. Lap time entry is more accurate, CloudKit sharing is more reliable, and saves are a lot less likely to go sideways.
