Cafe Connections is now completely ad-free for everyone — the banner ads and the ad after a quiz are gone, along with the ad-personalization prompt. Enjoy a cleaner, distraction-free experience.

Fixes a problem where a check-in that failed to upload was never retried — it stayed on your device only, and the warning banner about it never went away no matter how many times you restarted the app. Failed check-ins now retry themselves, and you can tap the banner to retry right away. The banner’s wording is clearer about what it means, and it now appears in your language.

This update tidies up the Journey tab — your visited-cafe count now appears as its own stat card and the header is more compact. It also fixes the app version and last few rows being cut off at the bottom of the Account, Preferences, and Release Notes screens.

A big social update! Check in and share regularly to earn a Gold or Silver Bean beside your name, become a cafe’s Regular, and show off your top milestone badge on your profile. Five new achievement badges to chase, plus refreshed artwork. Your Journey now shows your own status, with a tap-through to see your profile as others do. And new safety and privacy tools: block users, report content, hide your activity status, or download your data.

Your monthly Coffee Wrapped just got better: a new “Your Drink Profile” card shows your go-to drink of the month, how many different drinks you logged, and all of them at a glance — and your go-to drink now appears on the shareable Wrapped card too. Plus more consistent text sizing on iPhone and behind-the-scenes library updates.

Your cafe ratings, photos, and notes now back up to your account, so they’re waiting when you sign in on a new device or reinstall. You can also log coffees you make at home with a new “At Home” check-in, pick your milk right on a check-in (with a private milk note for home brews), and find your home coffee logs under the renamed “My Beans”.

This update adds a Release Notes archive in Settings, so you can scroll back through highlights from past updates and catch up on anything you missed. The Wishlist and Home Cafe achievement badges now have full illustrated artwork “Take Photo” clearly explains when camera access is off, with a one-tap shortcut to turn it back on. Invite links are better too — tapping a friend’s invite now opens their profile directly (with a preview even before you install the app), so following them takes just one tap.

Coffee Wrapped is now a free monthly recap you can page through month by month — your check-ins, new cafes, top spots, flavor profile, badges, and weekly streak — and once you reach five check-ins in a month you can share it as a Post or a Story. You can also invite friends with a personal link: when they open it, they can follow you with a single tap.

You can now report inappropriate content directly from Help & Support. German, Spanish, and French are now fully translated, and EEA/UK users get a new "Manage Ad Preferences" option to review or revoke their ad-personalization choice. Plus polish and behind-the-scenes improvements.

You can now snap photos right inside the app — check-ins, your profile, cafe pages, and the home coffee log all offer "Take Photo" alongside the photo library. A new Guides & FAQ section under Help & Support walks you through check-ins, the map, badges, and more. On the map you can now check in at any place, not just cafes, with 3 free check-ins included (unlimited with Premium) — and the Cafe Wishlist is now free for up to 10 cafes. Cafes your friends have visited now open with full details — address, ratings, and photos — instead of a "Cafe not found" dead end. Cafe lists across the app look and behave consistently, and your own cafe list now shows how many times you've visited each spot.

The photo editor has a fresh new design, and there's a new Feedback & Support link to easily reach us. Several fixes improve photo uploads and overall stability.
