• Fixed a bug where overlapping text blocks on the timeline could hide the block underneath in preview and export. Stacked captions now stay visible together, as intended.

— NEW FEATURES — • F-captions now supports working with longer videos – thanks to optimizations for large projects. Redesigned timeline: when too many text blocks are shown at once, their appearance is simplified, while accidental taps, clicks, or drags are prevented. • It is now possible to remove a single split between clips (in projects where video is split into clips). — NEW FEATURES — • New button in video editor for adding a logo. You can add up to 3 images on top of your video (transparency is supported), change their size and position. • New option: Overlays. Triple tap on video preview to show Instagram or TikTok overlay. Useful to preview what captions will look like after the video is published as a reel or story. You can also set the overlay color in settings and adjust the opacity by triple tapping and swiping up or down. • Search on projects screen (always visible on iPad and Mac, pull down to show on iPhone). You can search for project names, dates, and video resolution. Include the "x" symbol to show projects with specific resolution, for example "1920x". • It is now possible to change the size of the background fill. As always, the default value can be changed in settings as well. • You can now decrease the minimum text block width all the way down to 10%. — OTHER IMPROVEMENTS — • Fixed a problem where text blocks couldn't be dragged or resized on a zoomed timeline. • Much improved performance when timeline is zoomed and then immediately scrolled. • When you crop a video, the text block width is now calculated correctly. • You can now set a custom default text block placement for both vertical and horizontal videos. • Added a pop up that asks if you want to apply changes to all text blocks after a text block is dragged in the video preview. • New keyboard shortcuts for iPad and Mac: split video (⌥B), toggle text section (⌥T), new text block (⌥⇧N), edit text block (⌥E), split in half (⌥H), bold / italic / underline on the selected block (⌘B / ⌘I / ⌘U), jump the playhead to the previous/next block start and also select that block (⌘← / ⌘→), and others. • Various UI improvements.

— NEW FEATURES — • New transcription model to choose from: NVIDIA Parakeet v3. It is blazingly fast and accurate, while also consuming less RAM and storage. Recommended for European languages. • Quick edit mode added: first maximize the text list panel (the section with all captions) by swiping up or tapping the handle, and then tap the new edit icon to quickly edit the rows of text. On iPad and Mac, this is also available when text list panel is not maximized. • New text options: bold, italic, underline, text shadow, and text outline. And guess what? The defaults for all these options can be configured in settings as well! — OTHER IMPROVEMENTS — • Changing text block duration using resizing handles is now smoother; improved text block dragging and working with overlapping text blocks on the timeline. • Added milliseconds to the 'Change timing' window. You can now translate your videos using either the Google AI model or Apple Translate. • Translate existing captions in your projects Local, fast translations can be done for previously added subtitles as well. • Fixed an issue when a transcription model could get stuck during initial loading. If this ever happens again, diagnostic logs are now collected, and you can send them to me via email • Lots of bug fixes and visual improvements
