goSolat: Prayer Times & Quran
Qada tracker, khatam & hifz
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPhone. Not verified for macOS.
goSolat is now on Apple Watch. Check prayer times, count rakaat, breathe with dhikr, find qibla, track fasting, view heart rate after prayer, and share countdowns.
Prayer times that meet you where you are.
goSolat helps you pray with less to think about. It shows what matters now, what's done, what's owed and what can wait, with no guilt and no noise.
Prayer times
Accurate prayer times across Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Indonesia and worldwide. Works offline with bundled timetables. Find the Qibla, choose your Adhan and fine-tune reminders.
Track at your own pace
Log prayers in a tap, edit them later, and see early, on-time and late prayers at a glance. Plan missed prayers with qada tracking and a repayment calculator. Choose the journey that fits you, whether you're starting out, catching up or keeping up.
Fasting and sleep
Track Ramadan, Syawal and sunnah fasting, manage qada fasting, plan sleep around Subuh and set Tahajjud alarms.
Quran and Tapes
Read the Quran with tajwid colours, translations and audio. Search by surah, juz or ayah. Build memorisation and revision sessions with Tapes, repeat ayahs, and count dhikr with a digital misbaha.
Focus and reflection
Make space for prayer with Focus Ibadah. Read Friday khutbah highlights from Minbar and keep your ibadah close with widgets and Live Activities.
Countdowns
Count down to Umrah, Hajj, Ramadan, Eid, a nikah or any date that matters. Pin a countdown to Now or add it to your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
Made to feel yours
Choose from eight themes, personalise Now with a photo, and use goSolat with widgets, Live Activities, Dynamic Type and VoiceOver.
Menstrual mode lets you record when your period starts and ends, with prayer tracking and streaks adjusted accordingly.
Available in English, Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Indonesia.
No account. No ads. No tracking.
Your data stays on your device, with optional iCloud backup.
more A new way to open the Quran.
The surah wheel
The surah list is now a wheel. Swipe to turn it and tap a surah to read. Choose between a vertical or curved dial. Switch to juz, open your saved surahs and bookmarks, or go to your khatam plan. Search by number, name or meaning to jump straight there. The Quran home now follows your Now background, photo or colour.
A cleaner reader
Ayahs now appear in plain rows instead of cards. While you listen, the ayah being recited is lightly shaded so you can follow along.
Khatam counts what you read
Browsing the Quran no longer moves your khatam bookmark. A page counts once you stay on it for a moment or tap the check at its end. After prayer, the khatam box shows the first pages you have yet to read.
Share your memorisation progress
Memorisation tapes can now share progress as an image, showing ayahs memorised, days taken or time practised, using your own photo or theme.
goSolat on Apple Watch
In case you missed it, goSolat came to Apple Watch in the last update. Check prayer times, log prayers, count rakaat and use Calm on your wrist. Open the Watch app on your iPhone to install it.
Also
- You can now end a period that kept running and could not previously be ended.
- Tape progress no longer shows more ayahs than the tape contains.
- Saving a countdown image now confirms it was saved and closes the share sheet.
- When "Note after prayer" is enabled, starting a prayer on your phone opens goSolat on your watch.
1.15.0 1d ago
Assalamualaikum, Apple Watch!
goSolat is now on Apple Watch.
Prayer times on your wrist
See the current prayer, time remaining, today's prayer schedule and each prayer time. Check in a prayer from your wrist, or add goSolat to your watch face for prayer times, fasting, the Hijri date, dhikr, countdowns and more.
Calm: breathe with dhikr
Breathe in, then recite a dhikr on each out-breath for 1, 3 or 5 minutes. Choose tasbih, istighfar, tawakkal or shukr. Every dhikr counts towards today's total. Calm runs on Apple Watch and iPhone, and is now a Focus Ibadah challenge.
Count rakaat on your wrist
Start the rakaat counter on your iPhone and continue on your watch. Enable Count on Watch to keep your iPhone screen completely dark, useful when praying in jemaah. You can also start directly on your watch. Tap the screen or turn the Digital Crown to count. Swipe right to save or discard, just like the Workout app. Saved counts go into your prayer log.
Your heart rate, after prayer
Enable Note After Prayer on your watch to see how your heart rate changes from the start to the end of a prayer or Calm session. The same information appears on your iPhone after saving a prayer. A weekly card on the You tab shows your usual changes. It's information, not a score, and stays private to you. This feature is off until you enable it.
Listen and find qibla on your watch
When Quran or a tape plays on your iPhone, control playback from your watch with play, pause, next and previous. The qibla compass is also available on Apple Watch through the Track page or a watch face shortcut.
Jumu'ah or Dhuhr on Friday
Men can now record Friday's midday prayer as Jumu'ah or Dhuhr, including when travelling, combining prayers, unwell or when a khutbah was missed. You can change the entry later in your prayer log.
A more reliable qibla compass
Use qibla without location access if you've selected a zone in Malaysia, Brunei or Singapore. The compass waits for a valid reading before guiding you, displays the distance to the Kaaba and recovers automatically from compass errors.
Clearer fasting and qada fasts
See the time remaining on an active fast. It ends automatically at Maghrib. Fasting debt is now labelled Qada Fasts, with the number remaining, a simple progress bar and your pace, without streaks.
Share a countdown
Share any countdown as an image in story or square format, using your own photo or selected theme.
Also
- A tasbih counter on Apple Watch.
- New Lock Screen widgets for Tahajjud night and today's habits.
- An easier-to-read schedule widget.
- Ramadan times renamed to fasting times, for any fast.
- Heart rate and rakaat counts included in iCloud backups.
- Record the same sunnah more than once a day.
- Mark a Quran page as read by tapping the check at the end of the page in Khatam.
- The dhikr counter opens to morning or evening dhikr based on the time of day.
- A more reliable Friday reminder, with Minbar opening to your local khutbah first.
1.14.0 6d ago
This update is all about the Quran: listening, reading and completing your khatam at your own pace.
Listen to the Quran your way
Choose from 12 qaris and follow along as each word lights up, with tajwid colours. Queue surahs to play next, shuffle or repeat, and set a sleep timer. Recitation now continues when your phone is locked. Open Tapes to find your recent and favourite surahs at the top.
Pustaka, ready to play
Explore a library of morning and evening adhkar, Al-Ma'thurat Sughra and Kubra, wirid after prayer, readings before sleep, Al-Kahf 1-10 and the doa khatam. Each entry includes Arabic, meaning and source. Content suited to the time of day appears first. Tap to play, or save a copy to customise.
Plan your khatam
Choose a finish date, such as before Ramadan, or set how many pages you want to read each time. goSolat distributes your daily pages across the prayers you choose and keeps a separate bookmark for your khatam. Tick off what you've read, revisit past khatams, and add the new khatam widget to your Home Screen.
Period-day support
Choose your madhab for period-related rules in Settings. Focus Ibadah now pauses on period days, so your apps won't remain locked when you can't log a prayer. You can keep blocking enabled if you prefer.
Also in this update
- Jumuah, Eid and next-prayer Live Activities are back, alongside a cleaner Jumuah card.
- More accurate prayer times in locations at higher northern and southern latitudes.

An important fix for your solat awal streak. Please update.
Your streak, restored
Prayers logged from notifications or Control Center weren’t being counted towards your solat awal streak, causing it to unexpectedly drop back to 1 for some of you. We’re sorry about that.
goSolat now rebuilds your streak from your existing prayer history when you open the app, so your early prayers count again. Nothing to do on your side. Your best-ever streak is preserved.
Dhuha on Now
Between Syuruk and Zohor, Now shows Dhuha, the time remaining and a button to log your prayer, instead of saying there’s nothing to do.
Your photo, light or dark
Choose light, dark or automatic appearance for your background photo. Day and You now carry your background too, softly blurred.
Focus Ibadah stays with you
Emergency unlock and skip now let you use your apps for 5 minutes before blocking resumes automatically.
Also
- The Lock Screen prayer bar updates its position automatically.
- Countdowns preserve your capitalisation, and their Lock Screen dots are back.
- Day page pills now follow your theme.
- The timeline layout is now called Classic.
- If you’re using an older layout, you’ll see an invitation to try the new looks.
1.12.1 Oct 17

Countdowns
Count down to Umrah, Hajj, Ramadan, Eid, a nikah or any date of your own. Pin one to Now, or add the Countdowns widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
A fresh Now
Now opens with a refreshed status layout, a soft gradient or a photo of your own. It leads with the current prayer, updates after you log it, and shows today's prayers underneath. Pin your favourite shortcuts at the bottom.
Eight soft themes
Classic, Monochrome, iMinimal, Blossom, Blush, Mauve, Lavender and Ember, each available in light, dark or automatic appearance. Widgets adapt to your selected theme where supported.
After the prayer
A short, tap-to-count guide to sunnah adhkar, with Arabic text and meanings. Then return to your Quran reading.
A clearer calendar
Gregorian and Hijri dates together, a calendar legend, a Today button and month swiping. Tap a day to see all five prayers and review any you missed.
Period mode, rebuilt
Record when your period starts or ends, including the prayer from which the change applies. Adjust your prayer tracking and qada records accordingly. Your streaks can pause during this time, and Ramadan days can be included in your qada puasa tracking.
