RSync Pro is a professional-grade rsync client for people who run their own servers. It drives real rsync over SSH from a Mac window — with the flags, exclude patterns and per-run logs you would expect at the command line — and bundles ISC openrsync inside the app, so there is nothing to install first: no Terminal, no Homebrew, no GPL dependency.

LIVE SYNC — ONLY WHAT CHANGED
Most rsync tools run a full-tree scan every time a file changes. RSync Pro watches your source folder with FSEvents and passes only the modified files to rsync via --files-from. On a 100 GB+ working folder that means syncs complete in seconds rather than minutes — no matter how large your library.
DIRECT TO YOUR SERVER — NO CLOUD RELAY
Files travel directly from your Mac to your own server over SSH. No third-party cloud, no subscription, no accounts. RSync Pro works with any standard SSH server: a home NAS, a Linux VPS, a university server, or a teammate's workstation.
BUILT-IN SSH KEY MANAGEMENT
Create an ed25519 SSH key without opening Terminal. Copy the public key and install it on the remote host — all in-app. Assign a different key to each sync profile.
SYNC PROFILES
Set up as many profiles as you need. Each profile is independently configurable:
• Push (Mac → server) or Pull (server → Mac)
• Live auto-sync on change, scheduled sync, or manual trigger
• Custom rsync flags, exclude patterns, and a bandwidth limit
• Full per-run history log with timestamps and outcome badges
VERIFIED DELIVERY
Every transferred file is checksum-verified on arrival. The rsync protocol checks a whole-file checksum as each transfer completes — built in, not an option you have to remember to switch on.
BONJOUR DISCOVERY
On your local network, RSync Pro lists available Bonjour hosts automatically — no IP addresses to memorize.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING
Schedule syncs to run every N minutes, daily at a set time, or weekly on a specific day. Pause and resume schedules without deleting them.
PRIVACY FIRST
No analytics, no telemetry, no cloud account. RSync Pro connects only to the servers you specify. The app is fully sandboxed and bundles ISC openrsync (permissive license — not GPL), so it ships cleanly on the Mac App Store.
