SLATE CAPTURE — Create detailed VFX slates with custom keypads designed for rapid on-set data entry. Auto-incrementing scene, shot, and take numbers keep you moving between setups. Copy slates, attach reference photos with on-screen annotations, and add hand-drawn diagrams with the built-in notepad. Customizable field presets for VFX work types, shot descriptions, set locations, characters, and more let you tap instead of type. CAMERA & LENS DATA — Log camera position, lens information, sensor metadata, ISO, shutter angle, aspect ratio, and resolution. A comprehensive gear library with built-in presets for ARRI, RED, Sony, Blackmagic, Canon, Panasonic, and more lets you load camera filmback data instantly. Organize lenses in dedicated lens grids with focal length, T-stop, and serial number tracking. HDRI & WITNESS CAMERAS — Log HDRI capture setups with bracket counts, angle configurations, position labels, and filename tracking. Track witness camera placements with customizable position presets and link them directly to slates. REFERENCE PHOTOS & STILLS LOG — Capture or import reference photos and organize them by slate. Annotate images on-screen to highlight VFX-relevant details for the post team. REPORTS & EXPORT — Export production-ready CSV reports, generate formatted PDF slate sheets, and build Daily Time Reports (DTRs) for your crew. Import and export presets and gear libraries via CSV for easy sharing between productions. SHOTGRID INTEGRATION — Connect directly to Autodesk ShotGrid (Flow) to push slate data to your production tracking pipeline. Configure field mappings, test connections, and sync shot data without leaving the app. BUILT FOR SET — Wrangler works fully offline with no internet required. Project data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 encryption and backed up automatically at configurable intervals. Works in both portrait and landscape. Dark and light themes. Battery saver mode extends iPad life through long shoot days. Live home screen widgets display current project stats at a glance.
