Areum is the most accurate way to get an attractiveness rating for your face.
We asked real people one question, "which of these two faces is more attractive?", and trained a machine learning model on 10,000,000+ of their answers.
Why most ratings are wrong
- Asking a friend gets you a polite, biased answer.
- Generic AI apps are ChatGPT wrappers. The same face gets a different number every time.
- Asking a stranger or an expert gives you one point on one person's scale.
An accurate rating has to come from many people, comparing many faces, many times. That is what Areum measures.
How chess figured this out
Chess ratings are not a judge's opinion. Every game is a comparison between two players, and the Elo system turns millions of those small results into a rating that is precise and stable. One game says little. Ten thousand games say almost everything.
Areum works the same way. Instead of asking "how attractive is this face?", we asked millions of people the only question humans answer consistently: "which of these two is more attractive?" Those pairwise votes trained Seonho-1, our facial aesthetics model, which rates your 3D scan against the whole dataset.
What you get
Your rating comes with an Elo, a percentile, and a breakdown of how each demographic group would rate you, so you know exactly where you stand and with whom.
Privacy
Your 3D scan stays on your device. Results are shared only if you choose to use Areum's sharing features.

They ask you to scan your face then require (quite high) payment to see results. Don’t fall for it - textbook data farming (and your facial recognition should not be data you want farmed). I toyed around with the voting section - the photos offered were bizarre. If these photos were a representative sample of the data used to train this model, I have concerns.
Complete waste of money

I downloaded this out of curiosity because I saw it on an instagram ad. The app is quite simple, it does exactly what it says it does. scans your face and gives you a rating. Nothing more than that. Yet for some reason they thought it would be justified to charge you 34 dollars just to give you a report on how attractive it thinks your face is and a bunch of other stupid assumptions like your chess elo. The most outrageous part is that they have the audacity to have a weekly subscription plan. 😂
Waste of time

Why the heck would I pay $35 for ONE report? So if I do it every month for a year I gotta pay $420? Not even my streaming subscriptions cost that much. Drags you through an entire process with unskippable dialogue, makes you scan your face, and then after all that it makes you create your account and wants to charge you $35 for just one report. Yeah no thanks, I just asked ChatGPT and it gave me actual in depth answers FOR FREE.
Absolutely useless without paying for it

I downloaded this app. Realize it won’t let me do anything without paying for it and I just instantly uninstalled it because I’m not paying to see how attractive I am.
