Murmur turns speech into live translated captions, so you can keep up with a tour, conference talk, lecture, class, demo, or sermon in another language.
Choose a source language and target language, then tap Listen. Murmur shows translated captions as speech is recognized and can play translated speech when audio output is available.
Murmur supports English, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Russian, Hindi, and Dutch — with right-to-left support for Arabic.
Pro includes 120 minutes per month; Pro Max includes 400, with monthly and annual plans for both. Paid sessions can last up to 60 minutes. Add time with Trip Pass (60 minutes) or Event Pass (300 minutes); purchased pack minutes never expire. Sign in with Apple or Google to save your account and restore purchases, or delete your account in the app.
Keep listening while Murmur is in the background or your screen is locked. The redesigned app interface is available in 11 languages.
Murmur does not save cloud transcript history by default. Microphone audio streams only during a live session, and you can stop or cancel at any time.

Murmur needs an internet connection and a microphone — that's it.
Murmur uses a third-party AI service for live speech recognition, translation, and translated speech. Results may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Do not rely on Murmur alone for emergencies or medical, legal, financial, immigration, or other high-stakes decisions; use a qualified human interpreter.
