• Tapping a notification about your post now opens it directly — you land right on the photo instead of your notifications list. • Photo viewer: pinch, pan and double-tap now feel native — zoom in, pan around, and pinch back out freely. Swipe down at original size to dismiss. • Smoother scrolling: photos load ahead of you and decode at screen size, so new images no longer hitch the feed. • Loading states everywhere: feeds, Discover, notifications and nearby traffic show placeholders instead of a blank screen while they load. • Discover: the search field responds to a tap again.

Bug fix: your profile now loads right away after you sign in — your stats and posts appear immediately instead of showing an empty page until you left and reopened the tab.

Tidier photo galleries. When a spot has photos of different shapes, the first photo now sets the frame and the rest fit neatly inside it — no stretching, no cropping, and the card no longer jumps as you swipe between them.

Smoother photos. Images now fade in gently over placeholder skeletons instead of loading spinners, so the feed and spot views feel faster and more polished.

Fixed an issue where a notification that arrived while the app was open could open its linked screen on its own. Now that only happens when you tap the notification.

Liking a post in your feed no longer clears the note explaining why it's there.

Discover Search moves next to notifications, and Discover takes its place in the tab bar — spotters, airports, aircraft and airlines worth following, each shown with real photos. Follow more than people Follow an airport, a specific airframe, an aircraft family like the Boeing 737, or an airline. Your feed now tells you why each spot is there, and you can manage everything you follow from your profile. Airport pages Tap the airport on any spot to see everything logged there. New post notifications A push and an email when someone you follow posts. Off any time in Settings. Also: spotter levels on every card, and first-discovery badges grouped into one card instead of dozens.

Links to TailSpotter spots now open in the app. Tap a shared post from Messages, or a link on the web, and you land straight on that spot instead of in the browser.

Videos now play right in the feed. Tap one to pause it, or open it full screen — landscape clips turn sideways to fill the display. Tapping a photo now zooms it open, instead of sliding a panel up from the bottom. Nearby traffic is working again. Our live aircraft data source went dark; we've moved to a new one.
