I love everything about the app! I really enjoy checking in just a couple times a day. Because it’s so simple, I’m not brain rotting or wasting time. I’m also enjoying the more concentrated circle of friends— the ones I feel comfortable sharing these things with. It makes for a manageable timeline, unlike big social media apps. I’ve learned about my friends and have felt more connected to them from a distance, for sure. These are just things that don’t really come up to ask about, and it’s fun to do like a teaspoon of journaling with your buddies. My FAVORITE prompts are the kind of silly ones, though, like “what color are you today?”

OpenUp has been such a fun and meaningful way to connect with friends!! So often we get caught up in our day to day lives that we don’t get a chance to have deep and meaningful conversations. This app has provided such a unique way to see into other peoples lives. It really makes you stop and reflect on your own life as well as others. I have loved adding this into my daily routine and look forward to see how my friends respond to the daily prompt.

I genuinely love the daily prompts that you receive from this app. It’s actually a nice way for people to feel… human! No need to “show off”To our internet community. Instead, the prompts push you to be real with yourself and your friends. If you’re looking for a legit app to genuinely talk (and not politics) this is it!

Seven days in. Quite enjoy the prompts every morning! Makes me think more deeply about some important questions. I look forward to seeing what’s coming down the pipeline and to adding new friends and family!
