In version 3.6.0, Caliq has been polished across the board - calendar handling, notes, weather, onboarding, and Pro flows. - Calendar filtering now applies more consistently across the home view, calendar pickers, quick-add flows, event search, event editing, and active calendar selections. - New events now prefer writable active calendars, avoiding disabled, duplicate, empty, or unavailable calendars. - Improved the post-onboarding preparation flow with clearer calendar, notes, and weather loading states. - Improved iCloud Notes startup with better sync placeholders, follow-up reloads, and safer CloudKit import handling. - Fixed a freeze around notes linked to calendar events and improved legacy event-link snapshot refresh behavior. - Repaired weather history reliability by rebuilding missing daily weather snapshots from hourly cache data. - Refined the subscription and paywall experience with clearer annual/monthly Pro options, better purchase handling, and automatic online parsing enablement after Pro purchase. - Improved menu bar calendar startup, reload behavior, active calendar filtering, and multi-day event display. - Fixed location prompt presentation and permission timing so location entry behaves more reliably. - Polished animations, splash/loading visuals, paywall interactions, home card dividers, shared theme styling, and bundled app assets. - Added stability improvements across events, notes, settings, imports, persistence, and widget-shared data.

This update brings a much smoother first-run experience with a new guided onboarding flow and cleaner setup for permissions, sync, weather, and trial access. We’ve also added iCloud backups, so you can save and restore your notes, settings, weather workspace, and more across devices. Widgets got a big upgrade too, with customizable backgrounds and accents, a more flexible Events widget, and a new Upcoming Events lock screen widget. Planning is now smarter with Apple Maps previews, better location handling, redesigned event details, richer weather context on your timeline, and lots of polish to quick create and the home schedule view. This release also marks the first launch of our Mac app, bringing Caliq to desktop for the first time so you can plan and manage everything across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. On top of that, this update includes subscription, sync, notes, and weather reliability improvements throughout the app.

This update brings a major refresh across the app, from brand-new logo to redesigned calendar experience and new weather integration throughout. It also includes lots of stability and performance improvements, from object rendering to efficient caching. It also comes along with several community-requested features like all-day event filters. Version 3.0 is another giant leap for Caliq in its quest of becoming the best calendar.

Version 2.5 is here and this update brings two highly requested features to all users along with more stability & bug fixes. Notification Badges - See your upcoming events at a glance, right on the app icon. Choose between pending notifications or upcoming events, customize the time window, and select which calendars to include. Calendar Activity Widgets - A stunning new set of widgets that shows your schedule as a flowing activity curve. Instantly see how busy your day, week, month, or year looks. Bug fixes - it further enhances the handling of event chips and fixes a bug with event chip titles where in some cases of multi clause parsing, it may show repeating titles instead of the actual ones. Minor changes

Version 2.0 comes with big changes across the board. It has some great new features, some exciting overhaul to existing features and host of stability enhancements. New features - This version comes with an entire repeat pipeline including the NLP engine and beautiful free yearly progress widgets. Existing features enhancements - This version also greatly overhauls a lot of existing features like the conflicts check pipeline, the free slot summarizer, event chips, event cards, calendar strip, all four calendar views, active calendar filters, and more. Bug fixes - This version also comes with lot of stability fixes and enhancements. It further fixes active calendar filtering issues, theme preservation, deleted events syncing, prompt check awareness, background thread publishing, and more. Version 1.5 comes with more new features, enhancement, and bug fixes. -- New Features -- 1. Notes back-linking: Users could always see the events liked to a parent or child note. Now, when opening an event, users can also see the note linked to that event thanks to notes back-linking. This feature will be available to all tiers. 2. Quick recurring delete: When viewing an event, users can now directly delete a recurring event with all its future occurrences without having to go into the edit page. This feature will be available to personal and pro tiers. 3. Smart filtering: Pro users can now also use the new smart filtering feature that automatically filters out duplicate/empty calendars and events making your life even more clutter free. -- Feature Enhancement -- The active calendar filter page is now overhauled to be more visually pleasing and easier to use. -- Bug Fixes -- There was a bug in the active calendar filter which had unstable key checks that wouldn't persist and might lead to unwanted calendars being shown within the app. It should now be fixed. Version 1.1 comes with 2 great improvements. 1. Active Calendar Filter: As per user feedback, I have added the ability to now exclude calendars you don't want from the app. You can now choose which calendars you want and only those will be considered throughout the app and its widgets. 2. Enhanced Day At A Glance: For our Pro users, I have overhauled the whole day- at-a-glance logic so that it is even more aware of your schedule now. Instead of summaries like "with events spread through out the day", it can now say, "with events concentrated in the morning and afternoon".
