Not a machine deciding what will hold your attention longest. Reading the news should not cost you your whole morning, or your peace. Journalism was born as a covenant: to let you see what you could not see for yourself, so you could act as a free and thoughtful person. Much of media has inverted that promise. The reader stopped being the one served and became the thing sold. Dot 1 News is built to turn the other way. FEWER STORIES, EACH ONE CHOSEN Every story is approved by an editor. Nothing reaches you because a machine decided it should. Each story carries a short note, "Why we ran this," so you always know the reason it earned a place in your day. Not everything true is worth your attention today. Deciding what is, is our whole work. EVERY STORY DECLARES ITS METHOD Our newsroom AI drafts briefs strictly from cited, linked sources, never from its own memory. A person decides whether you see it. Stories carry a gold mark when an editor has stood behind them, and every article states plainly how it was made. We ask the news to declare its method, so we declare ours. MEASURED AGAINST ONE STANDARD The Dot One Four-Lens Scoring Model (D1-4LS) measures every story across four lenses: Biblical Alignment, Prophetic Significance, Source Credibility, and Human Impact. The scores are shown openly behind every story, along with the reading posture they suggest. ONE NEWSROOM, MANY REGISTERS • Home: the day's edition, chosen and scored, set on a paper reading surface with a night Ink mode • The Lens: photojournalism rendered with dignity • The Reel: news in motion, each segment tied to its story • Bible: the full Bible, every book and chapter, in your preferred version synced across the app • Saved: what you chose to carry A DECLARED STANDPOINT We are unapologetically Christ-centered, and we tell you so on purpose. Naming our lens is what lets you weigh our reporting honestly. The common ground beneath it all: every person carries inviolable dignity, truth is worth the discipline it costs, and your attention is a sacred and finite thing, never to be stolen.
