MOVE-BMS được dùng để hiển thị và thiết lập các thông số khác nhau của bo mạch bảo vệ cân bằng hoạt động của pin, với các chức năng cụ thể như sau:
Giám sát thông tin hoạt động của pin trong thời gian thực, ví dụ: tổng điện áp pin, dòng điện, nhiệt độ, dung lượng, v.v.;
Xem và cài đặt các thông số của pin, ví dụ: điện áp sạc quá mức từng cell, bảo vệ điện áp thấp từng cell, điện áp ngắt thấp, v.v.;
