GEOCAM 4.0 — FIELD TOOLS, BUILT IN Choose "Work & proof" in Settings → How you use GeoCam, and GeoCam becomes a site-documentation camera. • Free: the Report Bar style (address, GPS, bearing, accuracy, project and time in one band), shooting bearing, GPS accuracy, UTM and MGRS coordinates, and filing shots into projects. • Pro: Survey Bar and Weather Bar, PDF field reports, KML / KMZ / GeoJSON / CSV export, timestamps checked against network time, auto backup to Files or iCloud Drive, and note presets. A NEW HOME Everyday mode opens on a carousel of your latest shots and a footprint map of everywhere you've taken photos. Work mode gets a field gallery with a map, project filters and "Export today's log". PHOTOS OPEN LIKE PHOTOS Tap a shot and it zooms out of its thumbnail. Swipe sideways through the rest, swipe up for details, swipe down to put it back. FRAMED STYLES NOW SAVE THE WAY THEY LOOK Polaroid and Playing Card round off the canvas, and the saved photo used to fill the four corners outside the curve with black — the viewfinder and the file in your album disagreed. The corners are now drawn exactly as the preview draws them, on the same light surface the card sits on. A NEW PNG FORMAT Settings adds PNG alongside HEIC and JPEG. It is the only format that keeps transparency, so with a framed style those corners can be genuinely empty instead of resting on a surface. PNG is lossless, so Export Quality steps aside when you pick it. THE TICKET BORDER FOLLOWS ITS NOTCHES The Ticket style's outline ran straight across each torn notch and left a stray arc poking out of the left and right edges. The notch is now part of the outline itself, so the border traces the paper exactly. THE RIGHT DEVICE NAME The table behind the device line has been corrected and extended: iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, iPhone Air, the M5 iPad Pro, the newest iPad Air and iPad mini, and several older models that were missing. A few were plain wrong — iPhone 17 was burned in as "iPhone 17 Plus", and the two iPad Air (M2) sizes were swapped. Thanks for shooting with GeoCam!

TWO NEW STYLES: PLAYING CARD AND CARD FACE Playing Card deals your shot as a card — the photo sits in the window of a printed card, with place, coordinates and time set below it. Card Face skips the paper and lays the rank, suit and corner pips straight over the photo. Pick any suit, any rank (Ace through King, or a joker) and one of four decks: Classic, Noir, Vintage and Casino. Both are Pro styles. A COOLER CAMERA The capture session now shuts down while the editor, the gallery or another full-screen page is covering the viewfinder, instead of leaving the sensor running behind it. That was the biggest source of sustained heat and battery drain. Recording is never interrupted. A CLEARER UPGRADE SCREEN Settings now states plainly what you already own and what Pro adds, and that explanation stays reachable instead of appearing once and never again. SEVEN NEW WATERMARK STYLES Poster and Editorial are free for everyone. Palette — which picks its colors out of your own shot — plus Journal, Ticket, Film Frame and Polaroid join Pro. Film Frame and Polaroid are frame styles: the photo is printed on paper and the caption sits in the margin below it, instead of across your subject. Passport Stamp is now free too. ELEMENTS ARE NO LONGER PRO-ONLY Most of the info chips you place by hand are free now, and there are 12 new ones: compass, analog clock, altitude profile, weather tile, viewfinder crosshair, big lettering, vertical type, postmark, washi tape, highlighter and ticket stub. The shelf is grouped by category so they are easier to find, elements you have placed stay put when you switch styles, and one tap clears every layer. A HOME SCREEN THAT MATCHES YOUR WORK Redesigned from scratch, and you can switch it between "Everyday & travel" and "Work & proof" in Settings — trips and social posts on one side, GPS and proof of location on the other. SMOOTHER VIDEO Recording with a live watermark now drops far fewer frames.
