OrbiStudio turns your iPad into a professional live production studio. Switch between cameras, SRT streams, RTMP feeds, NDI sources, and media files — all in real time — with broadcast-grade encoding, graphics overlays, and multi-destination streaming.
Built on a high-performance C++ and GStreamer engine with Metal GPU acceleration, OrbiStudio delivers the reliability of a hardware switcher in a portable, touch-first experience.
**MULTI-SOURCE VIDEO SWITCHING**
Connect unlimited video sources over SRT, RTMP, NDI, or the iPad's built-in camera. Preview any source before taking it live with the PVW/PGM workflow used in professional broadcast.
**HARDWARE-ACCELERATED ENCODING**
Encode in H.264 or HEVC using Apple's VideoToolbox for zero-copy, GPU-accelerated compression. Configure bitrate, resolution (up to 1080p60), keyframe interval, and codec — all on the fly.
**STREAM EVERYWHERE**
Output to one or more SRT or RTMP destinations simultaneously. Stream to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook Live, or any custom ingest endpoint. Add and remove outputs without interrupting your broadcast.
**REAL-TIME HTML5 GRAPHICS**
Overlay live scoreboards, lower thirds, logos, and custom HTML5 templates onto your program output. Graphics render at full 1080p and composite directly via Metal — no external software required.
**BROADCAST AUDIO MIXER**
Mix audio from every source plus a connected microphone with per-channel faders, stereo meters, constant-power pan, and a brick-wall limiter. Audio-Follow-Video crossfades keep your mix tight during source switches.
**ORBIBOND NETWORK BONDING (Pro)**
Bond WiFi and Cellular connections for ultra-reliable streaming over unpredictable networks. Adaptive bitrate adjusts in real time based on available bandwidth. Five bonding modes: WiFi Preferred, Cellular Preferred, Redundant, Smart Balance, and Weighted.
**ORBISTREAM REMOTE CAMERA CONTROL (Pro)**
Pair OrbiStream mobile devices via QR code and control their cameras directly from OrbiStudio — zoom, ISO, shutter speed, focus, torch, and stabilization. SRT video flows back as a live source.
**CLIP REPLAY & SLOW MOTION (Pro)**
Instant replay with frame-accurate jog wheel scrubbing and 0.5× slow motion. Replay clips appear on both preview and program outputs simultaneously.
**INTELLIGENT FAILOVER**
Automatic source health monitoring detects stalls within 200ms, holds freeze frame, and switches to a backup source — all without manual intervention. Customizable failover video for Pro users.
**AI NARRATION & AUTO-DIRECTOR**
On-device AI analyzes your live program for automatic narration and intelligent source switching suggestions — no cloud connection required.
**CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT**
Save, load, import, and export full production configurations. Auto-restore your last session on launch — sources, encoder settings, targets, and graphics.
