Thankabout
Gratitude Journal App
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Start the year off with gratitude!
Thankabout is a simple gratitude journal app designed for real life.
In under a minute a day, it gives you space to pause, reflect, and notice what matters, big or small. There’s no pressure to perform, no public sharing, and no expectation to feel a certain way. Just a quiet daily practice that fits into busy schedules, changing seasons of life, and moments when attention feels scattered.
How it works
Each day, Thankabout invites you to check in with yourself.
You can note how you’re feeling, write down a few things you’re thankful for, and move on with your day. Some days that might be something meaningful. Other days it might be something ordinary. Both belong.
The experience is intentionally lightweight. Reflection doesn’t need preparation, motivation, or perfect conditions. It just needs a small window of attention.
Gentle prompts, when you want them
On days when words don’t come easily, Thankabout offers optional prompts. These are designed to open reflection, not steer it. You can use them, ignore them, or return to your own way of writing at any time.
There’s no requirement to be positive or profound. Honest entries matter more than polished ones.
Mood awareness, without metrics
Alongside gratitude entries, you can log how you’re feeling.
Over time, Thankabout shows simple patterns that help you notice how attention and mood relate. There are no scores, rankings, or comparisons. Insights are there to support awareness, not to measure progress.
Private by default
Your journal is yours.
Entries are securely stored, never sold, and never shared unless you choose to. There is no public feed, no likes, and no social pressure. Thankabout is designed as a private space for reflection, not performance.
You can export your data at any time and remain in control of what you keep and what you remove.
A practice that fits real life
Thankabout works across devices, so you can journal on your phone or on the web, wherever it feels right. Everything syncs seamlessly.
Daily reminders are optional and fully customisable. They’re designed to feel like an invitation, not a demand. You decide when, or if, you want them.
The core experience is free to use, with no ads and no distractions.
Three Things
Alongside the app, Three Things shares short gratitude stories and thank-you notes from around the world. These stories are offered as quiet inspiration, not instruction. No comments, no likes, no noise.
Just reminders of how gratitude shows up differently for everyone.
Who it’s for
Thankabout is for anyone who wants a grounded way to reflect.
It suits people with full schedules, people moving through change, and people who value mindfulness but prefer calm over clichés. It doesn’t promise transformation. It offers a small daily pause, repeated over time.
A simple idea
What you think about and thank about, you bring about.
Thankabout exists to support that idea, gently and consistently. One minute. One note. One day at a time.
