A new way to play: nothing to time. Plan the order instead. NO MORE RAIL The ball waits at the top behind a gate. Set the switches, then press DROP when you are ready. A tap anywhere else does nothing, so reading the pipes never costs a ball. WHO GOES FIRST? Every critter is on the board from the start, and you choose the order. FLIP SWITCHES From board 16, some switches can't be tapped: every one of them turns at the end of every drop, wherever the ball went. So the order matters. Free the wrong critter first and you may need your spare ball. TWO WAYS IN From board 21, some critters can be reached by two pipes. MORE TELEPORTS From board 31, most boards have a hole that feeds a bent pipe somewhere else. FEWEST BALLS The third star is now for clearing a board with the fewest balls. Every board can be cleared with one ball per critter, and from board 2 on you get one spare. 300 REBUILT BOARDS Every board was rebuilt for the new rules. A CLEARER SCREEN Switches you can tap are big coral knobs, the header is one row, the board and DROP sit together in the middle of the screen, and pop-ups are cards in the centre. MISSIONS WAIT FOR YOU Finishing a set of missions no longer interrupts a board: the celebration waits until the board is over. A NEW LOOK A new coral icon and launch screen: a switch, a pipe and a critter waiting to be freed.

DROPBOUND 2.0 IS A WHOLE NEW GAME Dropbound has been rebuilt from the ground up. FREE THE CRITTERS Every board has critters trapped in bubbles at the ends of glass pipes. Send a ball down the right pipe to pop the bubble. Free them all before your balls run out. SET THE SWITCHES Pipes split at switches. Tap a switch to choose the way, then tap to drop the ball. Nothing is random: a route you have traced is a route you can trust. BLOCKED PIPES From board 11, two routes lead to the same critter and one of them is corked. TELEPORTS From board 31, a ball that drops into the hole comes out of a pipe the rail can't reach. THE CUP GIVES THE BALL BACK Land the gold cup and you keep the ball. 300 BOARDS AND A DAILY BOARD A path of 300 boards, and one daily board that is the same for everyone. THREE STARS Every board has three to earn: clear it, clear it on the first try, and waste no ball. CRITTERS, MISSIONS AND NEW BALLS Six species to collect. Three missions at a time, and a new ball for every set you finish. NO LIVES Out of balls? Try the board again straight away.
