LIVE TIMECAM — BETA Open a live time portal and watch the world transform as you move your camera. Choose portrait or landscape, select from the lenses available on your iPhone, switch between front and rear cameras, and optionally transform people’s clothing to match the selected era. When the portal closes, TimeCam saves both the transformed video and the original camera recording—with locally recorded sound—to My Memories. Explore is faster and more reliable. Nearby history now loads quickly, returns better local historical moments, and fixes an issue where some Explore results could fail to appear or could not be used for generation.

We’ve upgraded TimeCam’s backend for faster, more reliable account, credits, and generation handling. This update also includes stability improvements and behind-the-scenes fixes to keep your time-travel creations running smoothly.

Improved background video playback and performance, fixed future time slices so they correctly show as Fictional, and made small reliability improvements around time slice creation.

This update improves memory generation reliability and fixes issues where adding new time slices could stall or fail to appear. We also resolved rotation problems affecting original photos in memories and improved overall stability when creating and expanding memories.

Added Facebook SDK integration, improved launch and deep-link handling, and included general setup improvements for a smoother app experience.

Introduced a new 7-day free trial on Starter and refreshed the subscription flow. We also simplified the credits screen and added a clearer trial call-to-action from the home screen.

We’ve improved memory reliability during updates and made time-slice viewing feel better. TimeCam now does a better job preserving memories and generations across app updates, with stronger local recovery if something goes wrong, and pinch-to-zoom on time slices now feels more stable when exploring details.

Time travel just got bigger. Version 1.0.5 adds 12 new historical eras to explore, including the Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age, Viking Age, Georgian Era, Regency Period, Roaring Twenties, Post-war Reconstruction, Swinging Sixties, Late Cold War, and more. We’ve also improved historical range handling for ancient dates, including BCE eras.

What’s New in 1.0.3 Added a new Upload image size setting in Settings (1K, 2K, 4K; default 2K). Added a new full image / cropped fill toggle when viewing memories. Improved credit flow: if you’re out of credits, tapping Not now now returns you to the Generate Time Slice screen. Locked core app screens to portrait for a better experience (Main Menu, Generate, Explore, My Memories, Settings, Subscriptions & Credits), while individual memory viewing still supports rotation.
