Warnings say each thing once. • When a label spells one ingredient two ways — "Chicken" and "Chicken Broth" are both chicken — the same allergen warning appeared twice, and counted against the food twice. Now: one ingredient, one warning. • Cards, chips and fields look the same on every screen. The app had drifted into two visual languages, and some surfaces sat on a grey that fought the background behind them. • Setting up is friendlier. Choose your dog or cat by tapping one, and pick a first food from the brand grid without a keyboard covering it. • A Done button above the keyboard, so a text field can't leave you stuck on a setup screen. Scores are numbers now. • Every result shows its score out of 100 beside the rating, so a 78 and a 92 no longer both just say "Excellent". • Saved scans show the allergens they found. If a food conflicted with your pet's profile, that warning was being dropped once the scan reached History. It isn't any more. Thanks for using PetScans!

Every ingredient now explains itself. • Tap any ingredient to see what it actually is, why it's in the food, and what to watch for — including the hundreds that used to open an empty sheet. • Searching by brand works properly now. Type "purina" and you get Purina foods first, instead of whichever product happened to have the shortest name. • Over 30,000 dog and cat foods are built into the app, up from 20,000. • Sharper ingredient matching, so more foods score correctly on the first scan. • A safety warning now looks the same everywhere it appears, so an ingredient can't seem riskier on one screen than another. See PetScans work before you finish setup. • During onboarding you can now search your own pet's foods and see them scored right away — so the app proves itself before you're done setting up. • Set up what to avoid — grains, chicken, common allergens, and more — once, and PetScans now applies those groups everywhere it scores, not just on a single scan. • Fixed a score card that could slide sideways off the screen when a product had a very long ingredient name. • Sharper ingredient matching, so more foods score correctly on the first scan.
