This update fixes several issues. - Typing a character and deleting it no longer makes the app ask "Save changes?" when you close the entry - An entry you closed no longer reopens by itself when you come back from another tab - Choice items can no longer be saved with empty or repeated options, which left some options impossible to pick - With large text sizes, the percentages on choice cards in Insights no longer get cut off at the edge of the screen, and the template cards on first launch now line up - VoiceOver now reads the "days this month" count on the Home Screen widget - On iPad with two windows side by side, Insights in one window now follows changes to your items made in the other Thank you for using Mainiti.

New to Mainiti? You can now choose how your diary looks before you write your first entry. - On first launch, pick from eight templates such as "Just one line", "Mood and health" and "Photo journal". Or tap "Decide later and start writing" to jump straight in - Already using Mainiti? Your items stay as they are. You can still switch anytime from "Choose a template" in the Setting tab - Fixed an issue where a day you had opened but not yet written kept the old items after you changed them - On iPad with two windows open: changes to your items now reach the other window, and a window that was in the background can open entries again Thank you for using Mainiti.

The Home Screen widget is here. - See whether you've written today, and how many days you've recorded this month, without opening the app. Tap it to go straight to today's entry - You can also open today's entry from Control Center - Score items now go up to 12, so you can track things like hours of sleep from 0 to 12 - Fixed cases where unsaved text could be discarded without asking (on iPad in landscape, and while photos were still importing) - The app's name on your Home Screen now reads "Mainiti" - VoiceOver now says which photo a delete button belongs to Thank you for using Mainiti.

We've made app lock less tedious. - Switch to another app and come back within 60 seconds, and Mainiti no longer asks you to unlock again. After 60 seconds it locks as before - While you're away from the app, your entries stay hidden, just as they were Thank you for using Mainiti.

We've simplified the summary on the Insights tab. - The streak counter is gone. The summary now shows the days you wrote this month (or year) and all time, so a missed day never resets your progress - "All time" is now counted in days, the same as the monthly figure - Days written are now counted correctly after you change time zones, for example when traveling Thank you for using Mainiti.

You can now start from a template. - Tap "Choose a template" in the Customize tab to swap your whole set of entry fields at once - Eight to pick from: Simple, Just one line, Gratitude journal, Mood and health, Photo journal, Childcare log, Workout, and Study log - You can still add, rename, and reorder the items afterwards - Your saved entries stay exactly as they are Thank you for using Mainiti.

Small refinements inside the app. Thank you for using Mainiti.

Rating items are now a single tap. Items with many levels use a slider instead. Text items keep their label visible while you type, so you always know which field you are in. The keyboard now has a Done button.

We refreshed our App Store subtitle and screenshots. Nothing has changed inside the app. Thanks for helping keep Mainiti a calm place to write.

Ads are gone for good. - All in-app advertising has been removed - The tracking permission prompt no longer appears - Photos are now one of your entry fields from the start - Added an optional "Supporter" tip — it unlocks nothing, and every feature stays free Thanks for helping keep Mainiti a calm place to write.

Added a how-to guide. - Tap the "?" at the top left of any screen to see what you can do there - Available on the Calendar, Insights, and Customize tabs - Learn what free text, choices, scores, and photos are each for, and how to reorder your items You can open it any time you need a refresher.

Added the Insights tab. - See your rating trend as a chart - View the breakdown of choices like weather - Check days logged, current streak, and total entries at a glance - Switch between monthly and yearly views - Choose which items to show, so you see only what you want Your own custom fields are charted automatically, based on their type.

- You can now rate the app easily from the Customize tab - Minor improvements
